Paul Burchill is a good wrestler; he's a brawler and has technical skill as well, his jobbing/absence on RAW doesn't really allow him to utilize these capabilities, so if he's released, I'll be relieved he might go back to UK or go to Japan and wrestle some good matches I know he can wrestle.

Yeah when Burchil was first on Smackdown with the Pirate gimmick the crowd loved him and he had some good moves and matches but since returning to RAW all he has done was win about his first two matches but the crowd weren't hating him enough so he became a good jobber for them. Either send him back to SD as a pirate or release him...

He's not the only one by any means, but the reason he hasn't got over is cos they haven't done anything with him.

The nearest he came to a storyline was clearing up the mess of the Kennedy/Regal fued when Regal got suspended...

Him & Katie could be sat where Beth & Santino are now if Paul (in particular) had been given some TV time.

WWE's roster is stretched so thin as it is, are they completely sure that MORE roster cuts is the way to go? I know I'm not, and I think only bad things are going to come out of this. If Christian Cage does sign with WWE, then it will make up for a little bit of the losses. But imo, WWE needs to stop firing guys and actually hire MORE, if they're going to have 3 brands you should actually have a solid roster for each of the shows instead of ruining the meaning of a brand extension by putting guys from ECW on RAW and guys from RAW on Smackdown! and so on

So you'd rather see some random jobber who is 'officially' on the Raw roster than Evan Bourne or John Morrison?

WWE has plenty of guys in developmental if they really think their roster is thin.
