Psych's argument that Kobe's not in decline, in graphical form:

2ns591e.jpg

lol that's like a 10 game peak. i think kobe's got 2 years left to play at kobe level but it'll be for nothing since the celts have both titles locked up in a safe. in a few years when kg retires, kobe will be too old to carry his team over the heat. might as well retire now. i almost said something to u ben because i don't like hand outs, but then i thought u might have thrown in the towel(although that wouldn't really make sense)

A lockout like 99 would be the wort thing to happen for the league but the best thing for LA. They have all the contracts locked up and B.Shaw already has the coaching jig as well and the assistants put in place so the O and D remains. Everyone in the core (sans Ron) can use the rest as they have played more games than any other team in the past four years (especially Kobe, Pau, and Lamar with international commitments).

Oh. Good.

Well technically, there can only be one point in time when you are at your "peak."

A lockout would be fucking horrible. I could handle it if it was just the NBA or just the NFL, but I'd go insane if neither gets their shit together.

The NHL still wouldn't get any national air-time if it was just them and MLB. They'd still be stuck on Versus.

Derek Fisher is gonna set things straight right PSYCH? He's gonna put an end to this lockout nonsense, right PSYCH?

What exactly is ESPN going to show then, bro? College Sports all winter?

If things go to form, the Player's Union will get the job done, Derek Fisher will have little-to-nothing to do with it, and Psych will write a 1,000 word post about how FISH kept everything together.

ESPN can't just show whatever they want. Versus has the majority rights to show NHL games. When was the last time you saw an NHL game on ESPN? It's been a long while.

I see. Still, I don't see ESPN signing a contract with them to fill the void of one season.

Dunleavy dropped 30 points on 75% shooting and I'm still going to be down 9-5 by the end of the night. ;_;

I can't watch fucking baseball or hockey, so I couldn't do without the NBA for a full season. 32 games yeah, but not 82.

I wish they would find a way to get the NBA on NBC again though
