CMS, Spiralshock put it perfectly kand I hope this bit does not turn into a rant on you or XBA but well... I have been thinking about this for awhile now.

You guys need to lighten up on what gets put into the lounge, I know it can get very tiring with the constant spam that sometimes happens but if somebody has something too help thew section they should be aloud to do it. I know I speak for a few people when I say that alot of the rules you have put up are unneeded including the 1 Partnered and 1 Single BTB. Myself, personally, I hate that rule because if somebody can do it they should be allowed to do it. You need too learn to compromise with some of the BTB'ers and not be so strict. If it was not for us posting in this section then you would not currently be mod imo. The lounge is supposed to be posted in and not kept under a watchful eye. If somebody has a good idea for a thread they should be allowed too post it and not worry about it being deleted so please.

LIGHTEN UP ON THE RULES.

^ TBH, I concur. Moderators are for regulating, not mandating. Keeping a stranglehold on the BTB Lounge and monopolizing members' ideas for authorization can occasionally become detrimental to the growth and enjoyment of a particular section, in this case, the BTB Lounge. Now, I know regulating Asking Threads and being resolute in keeping the amount of those threads down to a minimum is no cause for concern, but I believe if some members want to do something fun for the section with no official "branding," so to speak, then I think they should do so without the hassle of receiving a Mod's consent. Like I said, regulate, do not mandate. Regulating the myriad threads being created in the Lounge is something a Mod does, mandating is a power that I think should be reserved for the Administrator.

CMS-I think it's because you're seen as the face of the section. Nothing wrong with that but most new people blindly worship you and see you as godlike based on the amount of awards you've received and how long your shows are. Now I'm not saying you aren't good because everybody knows you are. You're ability to take feuds that on paper don't seem that interesting and turn them into epics is to be commended. Same goes with wrestlers-Bob Sapp being a great example. Normally a person in a position like yours would get lazy, knowing that they could throw anything out there and it would still get praised as "zomg teh incredibles11eleventyone" but you continue to try to improve and raise the bar.

The same thing could be said about everybody else. There is no one, and I mean no one's work on here that is perfect in every way. Everybody has ways in which they can improve whether it's feud booking, promos, matches, etc. And if anybody thinks they don't they are sadly mistaken. At the same token everyone seems to want to get to the level of CMS or XBA. Don't do that. Don't try to be the next anigma, or the next CMS. Be the next you. Create a bar that's even higher than CMS or XBA, creatively. But don't do it for recognition, don't do it for awards, do it because you want to showcase your abilities as a wrestling fan and as a writer. Getting caught up with awards and recognitions takes away from what brought you here in the first place-being fed up with WWE or TNA and wanting to prove that you could do things better if given the opportunity as well as a way to show your creativity and writing skills.

Both Quoted for Truth.

Anyway, I've been toying with some different styles of doing BTB. I have come to the realisation I wasn't burnt out with the writing itself, more with the way I was doing it. I really feel that I'm wasting my time writing weekly shows, as I much more enjoy writing the PPV's. I know I'm not going to be able to do recaps, so that's out of the question. And I know if I just wrote PPV's I would get pretty much no reviews. So I have decided I might try something experimental so to speak, and go in between.

Instead of a weekly TV show with PPV's every 3 or 4 weeks, I'm going to try something different, and sort of drop in the middle of PPV and weekly show, and have semi-regular events/PPVs, sort of how RoH does it. This way I don't feel I'm wasting my time with weekly shows, and every show is a PPV in of itself. Not everything will be centred around a feud, although they won't be non-existent. This will hopefully give me the freedom to do things I've always wanted to do in BtBs, but always fucked up my plans. Eg. Special Shows where I wouldn't have to worry about constantly building the PPV

But I won't make every show a PPV length, that would definitely burn me out, although there will be bigger shows.

Hopefully I can make this work =/

EDIT: CT, why would you ignore Scotty Goldman posts? You'd miss out on the lulz!

The problem is, last time the section got free will on what to post on the BTB Lounge, we got 3 different ceremony awards, 2 Rate the Bookers ran parallel to each other and practically each booker had an Ask a Question thread. Let's not forget that as soon as a I got permission to do the World Cup, we got the Olympics, the International Challenges and, Oh I have a cool idea, all posted one day later practically being the same.

Or how about the magazine frenzy we got in a while, with only one actually being posted.

Bottom line is, I am willing to compromise if you're willing to compromise. It helps nobody to have 5 different ask a question threads in which people ask the same things over and over again.

The problem is, that in reality, there are few in the section that actually compromise. Fair or infair, it was in the rules, and yet, you keep opening new ideas without permission. In 3 days we got 3 new Ask a Question threads back. What will happen when it isn't on the rules?

People currently have problems in sticking with one BTB. Why 2?

So yes some of that stuff is true but yeah, I remember how you told Levi, who you know can post shows and notr quit, not do OMEGA alone, that is one of my points for that rant.

Some I agree but I know it will give you more too do, I just thi9nk it is a way of people just following a fad. If I may make a suggestion.

If you noticed how I had a criteria on the Active BTB's list I made, well I would make one of them up for the Ask a Question threads or the columns, but well yeah,

CMS-Regarding sticking to BTB I think it has mostly to do with lack of planning. And not necessarily planning of the BTB but I'm talking about planning in the personal life. People don't realize how time consuming writing a quality BTB is. And since most everyone on here is in school that time is severely limited and monopolized by other things such as homework, soccer practice, and so on. And then you have situations of people either moving to a different place or going on extended vacations. Or in the case of The BKB their personal life turning shitty.

A second reason, this one aimed mainly at partnered BTBs, is people working together who have no ability to synch their schedules at all. I personally never cared for doing partnered BTBs because they seem to have a very high fail rate because one partner gets lazy or has no time to fulfill their obligations.

What's that stand for? Because I was going to call IPW that but BKB had copyright issues since it was so close to NEW lol.

Also, CMS and XBA, us members of the section feel like we pretty much have to ask for you just to make a simple thread in the BTB lounge. I understand with coloumns and everything but Gards made one simple thread which he needed permission for which is kinda weird. It's not like in the WWE section or something we need permission to make threads there, just thought I would say that for some reason. But the asking threads need to go again, you could just ask questions in this thread and all bookers could answer it...:y:

^agreed.

I really don't understand why we have to ask permission to post what we want in the lounge. the premise of the lounge is to be a lounge, to chill. it's not like there's constant flame fests or spam in here. I remember when C4 tried to do something with the main section, he was quickly shot down by MS. Most of us guys are already smart enough to know what belongs and doesn't beling in the section anyway, it was only a couple of small problems.

I seriously just noticed this. It stands for New Age Wrestling... Fuck, and I already wrote some shows. So to go back, and change all the

Jim Ross: "NAW World Champion!"
&
Randy Orton: "I come to NAW, because I come to destroy everyone in NAW."

lol, thats going to suck. But I mean NEW isn't exactly active anymore. I guess, I mean I'm not calling it New Era Wrestling. Its Age lmao.

What happened to that OMEGA like Btb you were going to do?
*Cough* Um this is the OMEGA based BTB.

^ LMAO thats exactly what my name was for my BTB and I also had to go back and re-do my shows and change NAW to IPW. I even had to change my BTB logo :smh

You should probably just ask BKB incase he has any problems with the name that way you will be able to avoid any arguments and stuff...
