lol @ you trying to type in all caps.

Anyway, I'd have to say Shawn Michaels. Michaels was a lot more of a complete package than Bret. Both had the ability to put on great matches, there's no denying that. But Shawn wins in promo ability, charisma, and just the 'look'. Michaels is much better than Hart IMO.

I shall break this down -

In the ring able to perform more moves on the mat wise
Bret Hart

Promo who is able to grab the mike and make you believe what comes out of their mouth -
Shawn Michaels

Entertainer who can headline a pay per view better then the other
Shawn Michaels

That pretty much cuts it down to the important stuff so I would have to say Shawn Michaels.

HBK was born to do this shit.
Bret was bred to do it.

I can't argue with the 3-point synopsis from DX:316 (above - Even tho' Shawn wrestles a mean technical match too), but Bret came from a less flamboyant era and was always more than the some of his parts, so to speak. I don't think there's as much in it as said analysis would suggest.

Both have had the bulk of their fed's definining matches in their respective eras.

these statistics just stand out- and the clear winner is Bret Hart, he retired 8 years ago, and has won more championships then HBK. He clearly was a better wrestler and one of the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. Look at the championships - and HBK and Hitman joined WWF around the same time

For all those HBK asskissers who compare him to THE great BRET... I just got 2 words for you....FUCK YOU

^ so the thread you made about HBK had nothing to do with your opinion but an impartial synopsis of why you think Shawn is so insuperior to "THE" great Hart. IMO there is only one "THE" in the WWE. :shifty:

Shawn and Bret were equal in in ring skills, I will give you that, and they were somewhat equal in reaction. But, on the mic, HBK is better than Bret Hart as in entertainment value and draw. And also, in thirty years time, who do you honestly think people will remember more, thats right HBK, its a no brainer. Oh wow, Bret won more championships. How does that measure the superiority of a wrestler. Look at Triple H for example, he has one the second most championships of all time. Is he the second best wrestler of all time, Hell No. So please dont try to justify that Bret Hart is better from a list on Wikipedia. Shawn is 40+ years old and is still pulling classics out of his ass. Face the facts.

PS- By the way, when I sent you that neg rep it gave a message saying 'may you get the same in return'. Rofl!

I knew there are various people who are just as good as nothing when it comes to wrestling knowledge and after reading X power reply I surely get to know one... U dont need to be a genius to say that Bret was far better wrestler than HBK could ever be in his entire life...U are comparing Bret s in ring skills with that of HBK ....Its just a stuff of stupid guy who dont know what wrestling is and what its tradition stands for ....I admit that HBK may be better than Bret in mic skill, but not in entertainment...When i talk about drawing power, comparing bret with HBk is another insane stuff...Come on U dont need to be einstein to know that bret and taker were the guys who were drawing more money than anyone else after Hogan left in 93...Even when Bret turned Heel in 1997 He was better than micheals then...USA vs Canada storylines were creating buzz everywhere, remember....Bret is considered by his peers as the best technical wrestler ever and u are comparing his inring stuff with that of hbk...Thats called stupidity at its best.
Know its time to listen the opinion of the person who mattered most... its not me.. its not you.. its not any bret hart fan... its not any HBK fan... but it is vince mcmahon himself... now read it.. on more than one occasion vince mcmahon said that Bret was the greatest storyteller in the history of business.... on more than one occasion vince said that Bret is the biggest international superstar ever ... He is still a living legend in countries like UK, Germany, Italy, Even in countries like India, pakistan , south africa, not to mention canada, he was damn popular in usa also.. His popularity is nothing short of thrilling.... And now here i got a dumbass telling me that Hbk was better than bret and he will be remmebered more after 30 years.. yeah sure Hbk will be remmembered by wwe fans after 30 years but not for his matches but for the controversies he created while wrestling, the way he backstabbed people, the way he held talents down... sure HBK fans will again keep argue on these facts but truth will remain imortal..

As far accomplishments are concerned , every one knows why bill gates has so much money, its because he earned the right to get so much money by sheer hardwork and talent that he possessed.. in the same way if bret accomplishments outweights that of HBK its because that this guy was better than HBK.. The way he was trained by his father…the way he dedicated his life towards this business ..It could rival the best of best.. thats it.. as for HHH getting so many championship.... there is a X factor in this world other than hardwork and dedication and that is luck... HHH was lucky that he got married to stephanie mcmahon and he is damn lucky because of her he is still winning so many championships and headlining virtually every ppv....Now i think u must have got it..and if u are still not satisfied u can have a survey of not the fans but of the superstars who have worked with both of them… Just go and ask guys like..Undertaker, steve Austin, rock, mic folly, ….who they think better wrestler was and after that im sure your curiosity will get resolved….

No, Im sorry but I havent got it. Your arguments are completely screwed just like Bret was. Bret had overrated ring skills and I portray them as equal with Shawn, if not worse. And how can a man that cant cut a good promo be more entertaining than arguably the best man on the mic in the last 20 years. I said myself that Bret could get a better reaction, but then that has to do with the storyline, and therefore booking. Wow, Bret was drawing more money after Hogan left. Well HBK has consistently been a top draw for the last 15 years and continues to main event pay per views today. USA v Canada storylines were creating buzz everywhere were they, wow, I struggle to see how Bret Hart would have thought of the storyline then booked it all himself, making him the sole person to take credit for this angle. If Hart is a living legend in overseas countries then HBK must be a bus full of living legends as he seems to be the most over guy on Raw right now. So what if HBK will be remembered for his controversies in 30 years, his awesome matches came with his controversies. Your hero himself the 'all-knowing' Vince McMahon said himself that Controversy creates cash. Also, please dont use the bullshit HHH loves the boss therefore sucks his cock and gets championships argument. He had already won 6 titles before going with Steph and would have won much more regardless. Look at Owen Hart. The man never won the big one but many consider him to be one of the all time greats, and even some say he is better than his brother. Hust because somebody wins a lot of titles does not mean they are better. Hart was in a time where there were not many top stara that were marketable, so that just helped him get his accomplishments. In the long run, he may have not won more titles, but HBK has accomplished more and established himself better. And sure i'll go ask the Undertaker and Mick Folly (wtf) who they think the better wrestler is. I'm sure they will tell me their honest opinion and not what VKM shoves down their throats. Your arguments are repetitive and just shout your opinion over and over, so just give up. Your double post didn't intimidate me either loser.

That post should earn you a nice infraction.

I knew there are various people who are just as good as nothing when it comes to wrestling knowledge and after reading X power reply I surely get to know one... U dont need to be a genius to say that Bret was far better wrestler than HBK could ever be in his entire life...U are comparing Bret s in ring skills with that of HBK ....Its just a stuff of stupid guy who dont know what wrestling is and what its tradition stands for ....
Once again, this has nothing to do with the topic. You're just insulting people. And you can hardly call him stupid. His grammar makes his posts very easy to read. Your's look like cat puke.

.I admit that HBK may be better than Bret in mic skill, but not in entertainment...When i talk about drawing power, comparing bret with HBk is another insane stuff...Come on U dont need to be einstein to know that bret and taker were the guys who were drawing more money than anyone else after Hogan left in 93
Then why did HBK draw more money than Bret Hart as a main eventer? The attitude era outdrew 1993, and HBK one of the leaders of the attitude era. Hart wasn't.

USA vs Canada storylines were creating buzz everywhere, remember....
So the storyline was good? So are a lot. You're failing to make a good point here.

Bret is considered by his peers as the best technical wrestler ever and u are comparing his inring stuff with that of hbk
Because technical wrestling is purely what makes you a good proffesional wrestler.

Thats called stupidity at its best.
Excuse me, Mr Pot. Meet Mr Kettle.

Know its time to listen the opinion of the person who mattered most... its not me.. its not you.. its not any bret hart fan... its not any HBK fan... but it is vince mcmahon himself
Then this thread is pointless, as is your post. Contradictions are beautiful things.

now read it
You said this why? I was obviously already reading.

on more than one occasion vince mcmahon said that Bret was the greatest storyteller in the history of business
And he has never said that about HBK? Righteo ...

on more than one occasion vince said that Bret is the biggest international superstar ever ... He is still a living legend in countries like UK, Germany, Italy, Even in countries like India, pakistan , south africa, not to mention canada, he was damn popular in usa also
You have clearly been to all of these countries, and found this out.

Not to mention, HBK is popular wherever he wrestles too.

His popularity is nothing short of thrilling.... And now here i got a dumbass telling me that Hbk was better than bret and he will be remmebered more after 30 years
Of course HBK will be remembered in thirty years to wrestling fans who watched him at the time. Just like Hart will be in another fifteen years or so.

Oh, and if you're going to call us dumbasses for diagreeing with you, it shows how close minded you are.

yeah sure Hbk will be remmembered by wwe fans after 30 years but not for his matches but for the controversies he created while wrestling, the way he backstabbed people, the way he held talents down
ROFL

That's definitely the HBK I'll remember in thirty years time.

sure HBK fans will again keep argue on these facts but truth will remain imortal..
You do know there is the difference between one person's opinion (no matter how ignorant), and the truth, right? Because this post shows a lack of that knowledge.

As far accomplishments are concerned , every one knows why bill gates has so much money, its because he earned the right to get so much money by sheer hardwork and talent that he possessed.. in the same way if bret accomplishments outweights that of HBK its because that this guy was better than HBK
Hart didn't take any shortcuts. Nope, no roids taken by Hart.

So the topic says Bret vs Shawn vs Triple H now, does it?

Every wrestler gets trained, so don't say that Bret did more. And you can't say that Triple H hasn't dedicated himself to the business, as he wouldn't still be wrestling had he not.

Keep up the double posting, and hopefully, we will see you banned soon.

If I was screwed on worldwide television I would be pissed. I can see how you think he is bitter and all, but he has played the "game" very well. He makes appearances for indy shows, which help pull crowds. he waited till he had enough interest to do the DVD and Autobiography.

And well just watch any match he had with Mr. Perfect. They were better than anything performed in a wrestling ring.
