WWE Draft to take place shortly after WrestleMania

Trading the champions are just wasted draft picks anyway because you know the opposite one would just get move in the opposite direction. Would be a totally different scenario if for some reason the IC & US ended up one show however and they had did some kind of multiperson deal to acquire one of the champs. I think they did that with....HHH? along time ago right, except he might not have been a champion.

I don't think championships were involved it was after HHH lost the WHC and it was the only name value drafted that night which made it hilarious when he was traded back to Raw for I believe booker and the Dudley's

Also I prefer the titles staying consistent too, switching them even without the show branding it making it worse was always boring to me. The thing that shocks me the most is locking Cody on SmackDown tho, I thought with Netflix coming up and fox deal dying they'd want him on Raw especially considering this week was the first raw he wasnt advertised for and it was also the first week I can remember it being down from the year before

Oh to add to your first sentence, apparently in 2005 when they did the draft over multiple weeks and Cena went to Raw as WWE champ week 1, they still REFUSED to tell Batista he was being drafted to SmackDown as WHC even tho he and everyone else with half a brain cell realized that was obvious lmao but they kept kayfabing him until the week he switched :lol Vince as truly such a psychopath for no reason

Before the champions being locked thing came out, I assumed they were gonna move TJD over to SmackDown and keep Cody on Raw. It seemed like Rock was a bit part of that Netflix deal so I imagine The Bloodline has to go to Raw. Things sound like they make sense until you realise the new TV deals don't kick in for another 6-9 months :lol

Plenty of time for Cody to be moved back to Raw. he won't be champ by then I don't think anyway. They're gonna hype the SHIT out of Netflix Raw 1 gonna be a PLE caliber show. Then Cody wins the Rumble and challenges the Raw Champ. Easy way to move him.

I keep having a feeling they do Cody vs Rock on Netflix Raw #1

I think there's a much greater than 0% chance Rock is wrestling on Netflix Raw 1. Not sure if it's vs. Cody or not. Could continue that Bloodline Civil War. Rock fights Jey. Rock beats Jey. Rock beats down Jey. Jimmy and Roman return to save Jey from further beatdown. In a perfect world they do that before Wargames to set up a Wargames match but don't know Rocks schedule.
