UJPW ALL TOGETHER 2024

Canadian Dragon

The Ace of WS

First matches set for All Together May 6!

Three massive bouts set for Budokan

The first event to be held under the banner of United Japan Pro-Wrestling, All Together will see six promotions from the Japanese wrestling industry combine for one huge card available on ABEMA Pay Per View, and with proceeds benefitting those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake of January 1 this year.
The first big matches set are as follows:

A super Shacho combination sees President Hiroshi Tanahashi represent NJPW alongside NOAH President Naomichi Marufuji and CyberFight President Sanshiro Takagi to take on HOUSE OF TORTURE. The true purveyors of justice for New Japan, NOAH and DDT will present a true tower of power against the forces of darkness in the Nippon Budokan!

An all star six man sees NJPW’s Shota Umino, NOAH’s Kaito Kiyomiya and DDT’s Yuki Ueno against Yuya Uemura for New Japan, Konosuke Takeshita representing DDT and AEW and Shun Skywalker of DRAGONGATE. All six young phenoms have been branded the future of professional wrestling in Japan and indeed worldwide, and this collision of wills and burgeoning egos is not one to be missed.

A massive powerhouse clash pits Tomohiro Ishii and Jeff Cobb opposite one another with some incredible partners. Big Japan Pro-Wrestling’s strong style stalwart Daisuke Sekimoto joins Ishii. Long known for bringing the big hits in BJW, Sekimoto shares a ring with Ishii for the first time since 2015, and the first time on the same side in over a decade. Meanwhile, Jeff Cobb has NOAH’s Masa Kiyamiya for a partner. On January 2 this year, Kitamiya and Ishii went to war in a hugely physical collision, and there’ll be plenty of sparks flying in the Budokan May 6!

Two more matches set for All Together!

More cross promotional battles set for May 6 in the Budokan

The first event under the United Japan Pro-Wrestling banner, and with portions of proceeds going to the victime of the Noto earthquake at the start of the year, all eyes are on All Together at the Nippon Budokan and a special co-operative venture between six different promotions. Two more matches are now set for the card, which is continuing to shape up!

Kosei Fujita will take on Kenoh in singles action. Fujita is the Youngest Punk in TMDK, a faction that has quite a history in Pro-Wrestling NOAH, and Kenoh has certainly adopted an anti-authoritarian punk stance in NOAH over the years. In a huge singles opportunity, will Fujita be able to show up a former GHC Heavyweight Champion?

Also set for All Together, SANADA and KAI of DRAGONGATE face Zack Sabre Jr. and DDT’s Chris Brookes. Present and former history connects these two teams together; a recent DDT event saw Sabre and Brookes long two British wrestling ships passing in the Japanese night, share the same ring for the first time in six years when they teamed together to a thirty minute draw opposite MAO and Yuki Ueno. The two having got on well- very well apparently, they tag again tonight opposite one of ZSJ’s closest frenemies of recent years in SANADA. SANADA’s partner in KAI represents DRAGONGATE now, but was a former rival of SANADA’s way back in the Wrestle-1 days, so reunions all round in this affair. Perfect for All Together!

Another match has been added to the All Together card May 6, as STARDOM join the action in the Nippon Budokan. A special tag match will see Miyu Amasaki and AZM take on Starlight Kid and Natsupoi.

A ‘supernova’ prospect for STARDOM, Amasaki made her debut in 2022, and instantly joined Queen’s Quest. On May 6 she joins a regular teammate in AZM, who is riding high from her first US tour, albeit one that saw her fall short to SDtephanie Vaquer for the STRONG Women’s Championship. AZM will be more than happy to show her high speed expertise against familiar foes though, in the form of Starlight Kid and Natsupoi.

With SLK representing Oedo Tai and Natsupoi Cosmic Angels, this is certainly a team of strange bedfellows. In fact, the two women are best known for their fierce rivalry over the High Speed Championship a couple of summers ago, and have never once teamed together. Aligned against a unified and common foe, might this be an exhibition that has wide reaching influences on STARDOM at large? Find out May 6!

Another big matchup has been added to All Together on May 6, with the junior heavyweight s getting in on the action. With Best of the Super Jr. getting started in Chiba on May 11 just five nights later, some key entrants will be doing battle alongside more names from the junior heavyweight landscape.

Kota Minoura of DRAGONGATE and MAO from DDT joins BOSJ 31 entrants Ninja Mack, HAYATA and El Desperado to face DRAGONGATE’s YAMATO, DDT’s Tetsuya Endo, NOAH’s Alfa Wolf and Dragon Bane, and Hiromu Takahashi. 25 year old Minoura is the 2023 King of Gate winner and a four time Triangle Gate champion, while MAO has recent previous with El Desperado, the two having teamed together at All Star Junior Festival USA last August. On the other side of the ledger, Tetsuya Endo and MAO are very familiar opponents in DDT, while Alpha Wolf and Dragon Bane bring former GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship credentials to the bout, and YAMATO and Hiromu Takahashi have some measure of mutual respect started at All Star Junior Festival last spring and further honed in singles competition at DRAGONGATE’s marquee Kobe World card.

It’ll be a stunning junior showcase on May 6 as ALL TOGETHER continues to take shape!
