True and I thought with Tanahashi as President and their relationship that he would stay on. Business is business and it's going to be an interesting next few Months to come to see where Okada is going whether long term or on the short term.
Reality is he's 37 n won everything after 17 years so I can see why even a change isn't gonna be a sway when njpw can't match aew or wwe money. He can be part time in either company too so I get it. The timing is shocking. They gonna have to rush passing the torch. It's weird.

I’m hoping whoever he signs with presuming it’s not WWE will let him continue to take outside dates so if he signs with AEW he can still make impact dates possibly MLW dates and what have you.
Yeah, this is what I said when the feeler report first came out that the man has done virtually everything one can do in Japan, and more than once at that. He has no doubts that he’ll be able to climb the mountain again wherever he goes, but the challenge I’m sure is intriguing for him.
The money is also pretty important because once you get to the stature of Okada, you can net some serious coin, and I don’t think Okada will get the sell out label because he stayed with Japan a little longer than he probably needed to.
I think aew is the front runner for obvious reasons but we know wwe is interested and likely also willing to back up the brinks truck so I'm not counting them out whatsoever
His Contract ends on the 31st a day after my Birthday talk about a Rush order for sure. The New Beginning's Tour starts in 2 days as you know Jeff now I truly need to watch all the Shows to see if they give him just that or maybe they can get Okada to sign a short term deal til the end of the Tour to give him the proper last run. Okada passing the Torch to Shooter give me it right now
