Shinsuke: If not Punk, then who?

Genuine question.

So by all accounts, they announced Randy on Raw as the 5th member because they didn't want people getting up their hopes about it being Punk. So i'm curious as to why they're continuing with these Nakamura vignettes because if it's not going to be Punk at Survivor Series, then why not shelf the angle and start it afterwards to avoid all the speculation for this.

If it isn't Punk, then who the hell could it be that would live up to said hype because I for one can't think of anyone.​
