I'm not exactly sure how this is considered Hogan getting a taste of his own medicine. For 3 main reasons.

1) The noselling is horribly scripted, even being commented on that he can't be hurt unless you hit his eye.

2) Zeus was only in the WWF because Hogan brought him in the first place as a friend from No Holds Barred, so Zeus has no motive whatsoever to Shoot/No Sell against Hogan.

3) Hogan's team wins the match if you watch the whole clip, so you know this whole set up was planned in the first place.

I guess since we are on the subject of Hogan, i'm gonna use this opportunity to showcase some Japanese wrestling matches that prove that Hogan can indeed wrestle. Because i'm getting kinda tired of "Smarks" claiming he has no talent.

way to kill the mood of a fun old classic hogan clip. You probably should have posted those vid's in the hogan can wrestle thread. This thread was just more of a joke. You clearly didnt get that.

I advise not taking things and yourself so seriously.

One thing i am kinda noticing with alot of threads is that a post can seem to me as serious as anything, but when someone responds negatively, then the thread was a joke....I didn't see any mention of a "lol" "jk" "haha" or anything else. It was just plain old bold faced statements, and i can't exactly see how you expected me to know the mood you were in when you began this thread in the first place.

If i were to of jumped on the bandwagon and started talking trash about Hogans backstage politics and what not no doubt the entire boards would of agreed with me and continued flaming Hogan as well.

But because i went a different route from "Let's bash Hogan today" i am told i take things and myself too seriously, and that i didn't get a "joke" that wasn't even made apparent in the first place.

So i apologize.

Nobody said anything positive or negative about Hogan before you decided to add your two cents, and nobody has since. So I'm not entirely certain where your outbursts are coming from.

i thought it was funny without having to add any of that.

Then i guess we all just take different posts different ways. I look at "Hogan gets a taste of his own medicine" as a jab at Hogan as if he was getting payback for being political backstage. Monkeystyle, you don't see that, so its more of a crossroads of how we take each post differently, more than either of us being right or wrong.

Apparently, with me still being very new to the boards, i have some getting used to as to what is considered serious jabbing or just harmless ribbing. Either way i am confused as to how to continue posting as now i am not sure what i'm going to be reading is a serious discussion or just for the lolz.

Well I can make things a bit easier for you.

Don't ever take anything I say seriously. Back on topic though.

I feel like purchasing No Holds Barred now and watching it again. Its been easily 15 or more years since I've seen it.

I want to see the triple tiered cage on WCW where Hogan and Savage beat like, 16 guys by themselves. and Zeus and Earthquake appeared as the final two opponents.

lol

When they wanted to give Zeus the nickname the Final Solution (hopefully) not realizing the connotations?

I've never seen it either, but I imagine that my brain would implode at the spectacle.

Well i had seen it once before as a little kid. All i remember is that the first floor had Zeus and The Shark. The second stage had all the members of the Dungeon Of Doom, and the top of the cage had Ric Flair and Arn Anderson.

Ahh, yes. The alliance to end Hulkamania. That was such a shitty time for the Main event scene in WCW.

I don't understand how it's a case of Hulk getting a taste of his own medicine, when Hulk Hogan always sold incredibly well for his opponents offense.
