This is actually pretty good for them. I’m actually pretty happy to see them heading there is 120’s because I remember I want to say last year at some point they dropped all the way down to like 81,000 or something.

they are def on the upswing, their live attendance has been much much better too with tons of sellout in canada over the summer

Impact survives for the same reason ROH did. Once you get bought by a tv or syndicated broadcast network, they really don’t need monster numbers anymore. Owning content that airs in your markets is just insanely cheaper. Especially if your network has no programming that draws better numbers. It’s a win-win for them.

only AEW is close to WWE and it's still far back as far as income and audience - and the gap between AEW and the rest of especially American companies is astronomical. Hell even the gap in money between AEW and the biggest company in Japan is massive. just how it is

Not as low as I thought.

Much appreciated Jeff.

Not going to read this entire thread, so might repeat stuff. But I think it's cool SD is going back to USA. Feels like the "real" home of WWE TV since it has been in one way or another for soo soo many years. This also could lend itself to have Viacom maybe do "Main Event" type shows on Saturdays every once in a while on CBS or NBC I forget which they own.

Is this deal as good as we think? Sure it's 40% more than the Fox deal but with inflation it is only 20%. They get primetime shows on NBC but that's built into the deal so no more money for them.

Considering where the company is at in terms of attendance and popularity I would have thought it'd be better.

Here's hoping the Raw deal isn't a..... raw deal.

It's def lower than what Nick Khan had been hyping up but how they've explained that so far is its just SmackDown, his increase estimate was all 3 shows so if the orher two are deemed better than it's no worry

I do think people are gonna make a big deal about the lower ratings instantly though and I wonder how shit Fox becomes at promoting them during NFL since they'll be leaving

What would be insane would be if Raw could move to NBC (I have no idea what their Monday lineup is and if that's even an option)

And then maybe they can get NXT on Prime for a streaming entry to get some cash there and have that trifectra of broadcast, cable, and streaming

Maybe I posted it in here or it's one of the articles somewhere but I think it said Raw was going to be the big deal
