I hope to God he is not leaving, but i cant find out information on the situation on the net. All i know is that WWE has removed his profile.

If this was 'farewell Undertaker' for good, there'd be a LOT more fuss.

The man deserves (and will get) some major kind of ceremonial send off after his last match....

This'll be just another time that "the deadman will not die" (or whatever their saying is).

I think they are going to revamp his character. In about a month or two you will see him back but with a different gimmick.

He's gonna be drafted to Raw.

It's either one of these possibilities on what exactly is happening with The Undertaker;

1- They decided to move Undertaker to RAW without the draft and so Undertaker comes back on RAW after a month or something.

2- Undertaker has needed surgery for a very long time, he might have taken a 6 month leave from WWE to repair his injured body and then he might return back in late September or around early 2009.

3- Undertaker is having a gimmick change from his old and stale "deadman" gimmick that has been active for the last four years. We might as well see the American badass returning on July 4th 2008 or something similar to that.

4- Undertaker has left WWE for some other reasons, and is going to make his classic "long awaited" return at SummerSlam, Survivor Series, The Royal Rumble or maybe in his hometown at WrestleMania 25.

The more i think about it, i realise that this was done to get people talking about the situation (like we're talking about now), so then we watch SD on friday and the following weeks raising ratings

P.S i know it may be obvious, im just throwing it out there. lol

I highly doubt that Undertaker is gone. If he were to be retired believe me there would be near Flair status hype on the match... and I highly doubt he'd go out at One Night Stand of all PPV's.
Theres a few reasons I can think of...
A... Nagging injuries, he needs some time to rest.
B... He own a multimillion dollar real estate company, he may want to focus on that for a little while.
C... Just adding to the drama and suspence of the story line.
D... He's headed over to RAW.

Although I heard he was originally pretty strongly against returning to the Deadman I really doubt they'd ever bring him back as the American Badass...Big Evil...whatever. He's had way too much success and legendary status since returning to the Deadman gimmick. Besides...we've got Chuck Palumbo for that bullshit.

For some reason I don't think they're done with the Edge/Taker feud so I'de be pretty shocked to see him show up on RAW. From what I hear he's pretty happy over on Smackdown... him being the power player of the show... I'de imagine he and Triple H might bump heads over on RAW, and we all know HHH isn't going to Smackdown.

LMAO....OMGZ!!!11!!!23 TAKER IZ GoNNa gOes TO TN@!!!!!!one11!2!

I've heard reports that he was unhappy on SD! with no more genuine opponents, so I thought they may do a 'loser leaves SD!' gimmick - but they deliberately said 'the whole of the WWE'. I doubt he'll go to ECW but that's what hit me, because WWE could try and play it as if ECW is technically different from 'WWE'. Unsure of how they get out of this one. Unless he made a sudden decision to retire while he's still in very good shape - some would say Flair went on too long for example?

No way that he is done with WWE, and no way he is headed for ECW.

If he was done with WWE they would give him a proper send off, not just Vickie going two weeks before the show, "You're fired if you lose bla bla bla."

I would rather see him go to Raw, I mean he needs new opponents. And they wouldn't send such a legend to the devolopmental territory known as ECW.

Exactly, i just said that ECW came to me - Never thought it would realistically happen though - it is effectively developmental with TV imo also

If Undertaker was going to leave for good then you would most likely expect some sort of farewell on Smackdown.
As most of us would of guessed by now..he's most likely to come back at some point.
You don't just have a legend lose a match at a One Night Stand PPV and retire without no proper goodbye. If Undertaker was really going to retire, we would of heard plans about that months back.
I miss him already =[ lol

Exactly. Stupid thing for WWE to say really. Gimmick change seems most likely to me. Don't know what to though?! Maybe the WWE will surprise us :mwahaha:

He should come back as American Badass I miss those days, plus his Deadman gimmick is getting stale as hell.

I don't see the point of the thread...Doesn't the Undertaker practically pull this every year...He'll vanish disappear and come back...It's practically part of his gimmick...
