Grim Makes a Bunch of Dumb Tier Lists

Canadian Dragon

The Ace of WS
I never actually sat and played Wind Waker through but I'd probably have it up there too from what I have played. I'm very sporadic with my Zelda games, I've played a little of almost all of them except for the most recent two, but only Ocarina, Twilight Princess, and the original have I really put in some hours on
yeah it's worth playing the whole way through imo. same with the SNES one, which is my personal favorite game of the entire series

On the topic of the first Zelda though, in like 2008 or so not long after we got a Wii, my mom discovered the virtual console and she LOVED Zelda as a kid so the first thing she did was buy it.

She mentioned how much harder it was without the fucking help book she had when she was younger so I showed her GameFaqs and she went to town on that game lmao she beat it, then did the new game + or whatever it was and beat it again lmao within like a month

Storm Trooper

If I can be Storm Trooper for a Minute
D isn't "bad" though lol, once again, the issue is that the Legend of Zelda series has a track record of making, and lemme repeat, great games. I'm just not as high on Link's Awakening as others.
Nothing wrong with that. But D is actually just above F, which is failing. I get you're grading on a scale.

Links Awakening is pretty much universally praised so seeing at the bottom of the list is shocking. And given the limitations of the Game Boy the fact it is as good as it is is a marvel.

I loved Ocarina but ngl, unless they make an actually good remake I don't think I'd ever play it again.

When I replayed it a couple years ago and ended up doing a 100% completion run, the only thing that was really jarring for me were the archery minigames. Graphics were that clunky stuff from the era too but that never really bothers me. The boss fights especially held up a lot better than I thought, plus just running through Hyrule Field with that legendary music, it was great

yeah i put in a loooooot of hours on the original and the camera sometimes is just ugh. mb not so bad with a more modern controller and yeah the archery stuff is tough.

What I am also saying is can we just like have a 1080p 60fps ocarina remake please

Lol yeah the camera work took some getting used to but I just spammed the button that centered it religiously. I was actually using a N64 controller too but GameCube def works better

Here's also a bit of a hot take:

I like Simon's Quest actually more than the first game. It's just so ambitious despite being so flawed.
