Wow, I guess it's true. Sad to see if the guy retires really. A lot of people will be ragging on him and shit, but bottom line, he's done a lot for the business, and had a successful career. :y:

I'm not a big fan of most of things Angle says and don't really like him THAT much. However he's a great wrestler and I will feel sad for him if his career is over at such a young age.

This would be a HUGE blow for TNA. I mean this guy has pretty much had the title or been in a title program for well over a year and he's far and away their biggest draw. It's going to be very interesting to see where they go from here.

Damn that sucks, I thought it was good that Kaz was put in the match though.

I really wanted Kurt to fight and then early in the match roll out of the ring then run in and roll up Scott steiner all of a sudden, then he would of been able to say " I won the TNA World title and an Olympic Gold medal with a broken Freakin neck!" that would of been awesome!

but that sucks for Kurt I hope he is able to continue to wrestle, he is My Olympic Hero!!!

Dispite the fact that he's got a fuckin' screw loose these days (and already past his best) a career threatening injury for Angle is bad news...

I have some great memories of his WWE years.

the sad thing is that if kurt angle was to retire because of his neck he would have done after the 1996 olmypics ( sorry about the spelling I suck at it ) so the only way he'll stop is if hes in a wheelchair

-- Angle was removed from main event at Sacrifice after suffering what he claimed to be his sixth broken neck in a three-way match on 5/5 in Seoul, Korea. Angle was wrestling Yeok Bal San for the NKPW Heavyweight Title and when San bodyslammed Angle, he apparently dropped him right on his forehead. Angle finished the match, but said afterwards that his neck was screwed up bad and that he was going to have to go back to America to get the injury checked out. At the PPV, he said he wanted to wrestle, but his doctor told him that if he didn't rest up, the next neck injury could signal the end of his career. According to a source within TNA, Kurt Angle's injuries are very real and they are "waiting on a long term diagnosis". TNA knew Angle was hurting but as late as Saturday hoped that he would be able do the one match and then take time off. It wasn't until Sunday afternoon that it was clear to them that he couldn't safely do it.

Here's a video of the incident. It happens at the 4:05 mark.
