#3 Triangle Derby I Match
STARS (Hazuki, Koguma & Saya Iida) vs. Donna del Mondo (Giulia, Mai Sakurai & Thekla)

-Saya Iida is the sunshine on the STARS - but this is the elite DDM team.

- THEKLA checking out Saya's muscles is a funny moment - and then the push up challenge.

- This is a great contest - and surprised it is the first Derby matches of the night.

-THEKLA with the win and my word how awesome did that finish look - Dukogumo Death Drop!

#4 Triangle Derby I Match
Oedo Tai (Momo Watanabe, Natsuko Tora & Saki Kashima) vs. Club Venus (Mariah May, Mina Shirakawa & Xia Brookside)

- DANCE PARTY! Club Venus on the dance floor.

- I know I keep saying it, but Xia just looks so much better than the version of her I saw on NXT UK.

- Tora introducing Mariah to the food options in Japan.

- Momo and Mina exchanging those hard hitting kicks.

- Mariah picks up the win for Club Venus! Happily Ever After is a cool finishing move!

#5 Triangle Derby I Match
Haruka Umesaki & Oedo Tai (Ruaka & Starlight Kid) vs. God's Eye (Ami Sourei, MIRAI & Syuri)

- Ruaka and SLK on one team. Syuri on the other. Just enjoy the fucking show!

- Maybe its just the colour schemes - but MIRAI and Master Wato as a mixed tag team sounds like a dope pairing to me.

- Although I'm not a particular fan of Sourei - you've got to respect what she brings to the squared circle.

- Also is it just me - or has Syuri looked a little bit off form during this entire tournament?

- MIRAI transitioning into the submission - was very smooth. A very slick way to lock in the Miramare.

#6 Triangle Derby I Match
Donna del Mondo (Himeka & Maika) & Lady C vs. Neo Stardom Army (Nanae Takahashi, Yuna Mizumori & Yuu)

- Neo Stardom Army - just aren't for me. Maybe I'm a hater LOL.

- Himeka and Maika are also two people that are just always there - but I could easily elevate into being Joshi I invest more of my admiration for.

- Its going to take all three of them to bring this leviathan Yuu down.

- I do love this more dangerous side of Lady C though - I can envisage her getting quite the push up the ladder in a few years time.

- Yuu wins via the choke out - and love Guilia rushing into the ring post-match to check on C's status. What a Face of this Company!

- oh Himeka and Maika are the next challengers for the titles! PUMP IT UP!

#7Triangle Derby I Match
Queen's Quest (AZM, Saya Kamitani & Utami Hayashishita) vs. Prominence (Hiragi Kurumi, Risa Sera & Suzu Suzuki)

- Queen's Quest all fucking day in this main-event battel! Also the best dressed trio by quite a long way - so regal!

- A match against the champions though - this is really a main event match for sure. And to think the only person without a belt is Hayashishita.

- Utami is still the fucking BOSS though!

- And one of my new faves Saya Kamitani doing it like a champion!

- This is just a standout contest - you really can't complain. THIS IS JOSHI BAYBAY!

- What an awesome counter by Saya to claim the win! The greatest European Clutch the world has ever seen!

- BOW DOWN TO THE QUEENS! ​

NIGHT EIGHT

#4 Triangle Derby I Match
STARS (Hazuki, Koguma & Saya Iida) vs. Cosmic Angels (Natsupoi & Tam Nakano) & SAKI

-Mixed feeing about who I want here. Hazuki and Iida are both great, but so are Nakano and Natsupoi.

- Lets cheer for the STARS in this one.

- Iida vs. Nakano is honestly the perfect start for me too. Lets get this derby rolling!

- Still not 100% into SAKI - although she has been impressing in this Derby.

- Some really great trio tagging strategy from both teams.

- The Strongest Lariat by Iida onto Natsupoi! BIG MUSCLES!

- Whatever you call Natsupoi finishing move - that was cool AF! Fairing Ring! OOOOOOH!


#5 Triangle Derby I Match
STARS (Hanan, Mayu Iwatani & Momo Kohgo) vs. God's Eye (Ami Sourei, MIRAI & Syuri)

- Syuri is here!!!!

- One of my ones to watch in 2023 - Momo Kohgo. Although I don't see God's Eye not winning this contest.

- Hoping Syuri will turn up the volume again in this one - I don't think she has had the most impressive January. Being in the ring with Iwatani can't really disappoint though.

- Kohgo going after Sourei - potential for a future shot at the title maybe. Looks like Ami is too strong for her at the moment in the time

- Khogo and Sourei are having really great battle - hopefully this contest ends with both of them still the legal women.

- And so it does with the ever slick looking Blue Thunder Bomb.


#6 Triangle Derby I Match
Rebel X Enemy (Maika Ozaki, Maya Yukihi & Ram Kaicho) vs. Neo Stardom Army (Nanae Takahashi, Yuna Mizumori & Yuu)

- RAM KAICHO! RAM KAICHO! RAM KAICHO!

- And its Neo Boredom Army....

- Ram putting in her gum shield - she means business today.

- This match has started well - and its complete chaos already. Just what the wrestling Doctor ordered though.

- Yuu and her body roll/rolling pin move is still one of the worst things I've seen this years as a new move [for my eyes].

- Ram with the transition into DDT!

- Ozaki looks tough as hell standing up to Yuu.

- A solid win for Rebel X Enemy! Mizumori is just the body to avoid the champions suffering the pin though.


#7 Triangle Derby I Match
Donna del Mondo (Himeka & Maika) & Lady C vs. Club Venus (Mariah May, Mina Shirakawa & Xia Brookside)

- My new favourite sub-unit: CLUB VENUS!!! Really hoping they pick up another win!

- Although with MaiHim challenging for the tag belts - it might be a stronger move booking wise for them to pick up the win.

- CLUB VENUS IS HERE!!!!!

- Mariah just gave Lady C a noogie whilst in a headlock LOL

- Once again Lady C is really impressing me as of late.

- MINA SHIARAKAWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

- Pretty sure that was their 4th in the Derby too - and I think their last match. I think 4 wins and three losses is a pretty impressive showing from a brand new trio grouping - but I don't think it its going to be enough. It is still possible though I guess!

- Xia has got a whole lot of respect for the fans though. Really love it.

- Pumped for Supreme Fight 2023 now!

Triangle Derby Trios League Group Stage Match
Classmates (Saya Iida, Hazuki & Koguma) defeated Unique Glare (Starlight Kid, Haruka Umesaki & Ruaka).

6 Woman Tag Team Match
God’s Eye (Ami Sorei, Syuri & Konami) defeated Queen’s Quest (Utami Hayashishita, Lady C & AZM).

Singles Match
Chihiro Hashimoto defeated MIRAI.

Goddesses Of STARDOM Championships Match
Neo STARDOM Army (Nanae Takahashi & Yuu) (c) defeated MaiHime (Maika & Himeka).

Wonder Of STARDOM Championship Match
Saya Kamitani (c) defeated Momo Watanabe.

World Of STARDOM Championship Match

Watched some of the Supreme Fight event today and the Naniwa Roulette is such a dope concept. Very fast paced match, a lot of great talent involved, I enjoyed it a lot. Got really pumped when Tam Nakano entered the fray. Iwatani & Tsukiyama opening it up was dope.

I was just checking Wiki for this event and apparently this is the first event that had a full crowd capacity after a long time, so that was really nice to learn. Definitely noticed the extra noise as I was watching so far.

Sad to hear the Jumbo Princess is retiring loved her potential as a talent and I wished we got see her more in Joshi Wrestling. Still she left plenty of memories good luck on your next journey Himeka.
