I'm the Doctor
Alba was a Detective and I'm just hearing this one. Dude would be in my Top 3 for Bond might need to check out his Show at some point but I'm so deep into 2 dozen Shows right now outside of the Weeklies.

He was, Luther was a tremendous TV show. It also turned me on to the amazing Ruth Wilson, who played Alice in the show. AND WAS AMAZING.

Watched the movie over the previous weekend. *shrugs* It was alright. Felt more "die hard" than what the Luther series felt like. Don't hate the movie, but wasn't overly thrilled with it. Cool to see the character, always hyped when Mr. Elba is doing his thing. And Serkis is always great in any role imo.

Enjoyed this for the most part, went in with somewhat tempered expectations after reading mixed reviews. It's very fast paced right from the get go, and the two hour runtime flew by pretty quickly for me. Idris Elba playing DCI Luther is always a good time, he slots back in to the role quite naturally. Andy Serkis really elevates this to the next level with his performance I thought. He makes this worth watching, IMO. I'm not sure if I'd ever watch it again beyond the first time, but it is an entertaining thrill ride from start to finish.
