Not really what I expected from this Moment, it was big if you see Austins overall career. Remember Monday Night Raw just the day after KOR; there were many signs saying "AUSTIN 3:16" and that's what made Vince McMahon give the push to Steve Austin. Imo it's a really important Moment. If that Moment didn't take place then there would be no "Stone Cold Legacy" DVD today!

Stone Cold defeats The Rock at WrestleMania 15 to win his 3rd WWF Championship.

austin2_wrestlemania15.jpg

They call it the "granddaddy of them all" WrestleMania, it's the Super Bowl of sports-entertainment. Throwing all their eggs in one basket, the World Wrestling Federation casually whipped through the under card to arrive at the main event of WrestleMania 15 and the fateful conclusion of the "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - Vince McMahon storyline. Shoved to the backburner, most of the other matches ended so quickly that almost half the card was over before the first hour had gone by. A poorly orchestrated WWF Women's World Title match. Nothing else seemed to matter much but Austin's impending revenge on WWF owner McMahon for a year's worth of meddling. The goliath Paul Wight blew his chance as well as McMahon's plans to skew the main event by ChokeSlamming Mankind through two steel chairs. The referee disqualified Wight. Enraged, McMahon confronted Wight in the middle of the ring. Wight teased a Chokeslam then gently put the WWF owner down. McMahon persisted on dressing down The Big Show so Wight punched him in the chops. McMahon had Wight charged with assault and arrested. Mankind was loaded onto a gurney and "transported" to the local hospital.

Vince McMahon then appointed himself the special guest referee and took his place in the squared circle. This didn't sit too well with WWF Commissioner Shawn Michaels. He entered the First Union Center Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to a huge pop reminding McMahon that the WWF rule book states that only the commissioner can select a new referee.

The stage was set for WrestleMania 15 - No Holes Barred for the WWF Championship between Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock (of the Corporation) in the Main Event. And the match began, the fight started quickly and immediately made its way into the crowd and brawled on the WrestleMania stage.. At one point in the match, Stone Cold Steve Austin set the Rock up on the Spanish Announce Table and drove him through it with an elbow drop (two tries)!

Also During the Championship Match at WrestleMania 15, the Referee Mike Chioda got knocked out, and referee Tim White came out to replace him.. soon Vince McMahon came down and distracted Steve Austin, so that The Rock could hit a low-blow! Vince McMahon then got in the ring and knocked the referee out, and helped Rock stomp Steve Austin!

Mankind came down, wearing a white shirt with stripes; his custom made Referee shirt. Mankind kicked Vince McMahon out of the ring and assumed his position as guest referee.. The Rock hit the Rock Bottom and set up for the people's elbow, but Steve Austin moved out of the way! The Rock went for another Rock Bottom, but Steve Austin reversed it into the Stone Cold Stunner for the win!!! Steve Austin celebrated with a few beers, including sharing a few with referee Earl Hebner. Vince McMahon claimed Steve Austin was holding his belt, so Austin stunned McMahon and dumped Beer on him. The most popular star of the late 90's had just won his 3rd WWF Championship and it's another big Moment that we will remember!

8/10 Cole spoiled it, but that was a wild match they had and anytime old Earl gets a beer and Vince gets a stunner, it's a pretty good moment.

Here is my rating... 8/10
The rest of the WreslteMania 15 went so fast and they rushed to the Main Event. And yes, Michael Cole did spoil it, but the storyline which was going on.. McMahon/Austin/Rock with the addition of Mankind, Big Show.. it was just great and that's why it was a rocking Main Event and Austin winning, that's always great!

6/10... Probably the worst match between Rock and Austin, and Cole spoiling the winner ruined the moment a bit.

Hulk Hogan defeats Shawn Michaels 1..2..3 in the ring!

200px-Hulk_Hogan3.jpg

Hogan appeared on the July 4 edition of RAW as the special guest of Carlito on his talk-show segment "Carlito's Cabana." After being asked questions by Carlito concerning his daughter Brooke Hogan, Hogan proceeded to attack Carlito. This was then followed up by an attack of Kurt Angle, who made comments about Brooke, which further upset Hogan. Hogan was eventually double teamed by Carlito and Angle but was saved by Shawn Michaels. Later that night, Michaels and Hogan defeated Carlito and Kurt Angle in a tag match. During the post match celebration, Michaels delivered Sweet Chin Music to Hogan and walked off. The following week on RAW, Michaels appeared on "Piper's Pit" and challenged Hogan to face him one-on-one for the first time. Hogan appeared on RAW one week later and accepted the challenge. The match took place on Sunday, August 21 at SummerSlam 2005. Initially, this match was discussed as being the first of two between Hogan and Michaels, with each man notching a victory. The match between Hogan and Michaels at SummerSlam was the main event of the night, and the two 0collided in a battle billed as "Legend vs. Icon." The match went back and forth, with two referees getting "knocked out" and Michaels using a steel chair to try to gain an advantage. Even after Michaels hit his Sweet Chin Music, Hogan still kicked out and mounted some offense against Michaels, finally hitting him with the legdrop and scoring the victory. Michaels extended his hand to him, telling him that he "had to find out for himself," and Hogan and Michaels shook hands. Michaels left the ring to allow Hogan to celebrate with the crowd and Hulk Hogan was the better man defeating Shawn Michaels 1..2..3 in the ring creating a Moment for all of us to remember!

1/10. Hogan had no business going over Michaels. The 1 is based solely on the fact that HBK oversold everything during the match and that made me laugh my ass off.

Hulk Hogan is just an old bastard who can't accept the fact that he is past his prime, this match should have been won by Shawn Michaels since he still had a future with the company. 3/10 just for the big Main Event setting, the ending of the Match totally sucked!

Horrible match, Hogan is an ass, not wanting to "Tie" to a real legend, I laughed my ass off at Shawn over selling to the max.
