I personally wouldn't give a fuck, Marty is def a weird one bc his stuff is pretty cut and dry that it happened, which is also why it's pretty cut and dry that legally he's not in hot water, just morally. I'd be interested in seeing if he could salvage his career at some point, I was interested when he was supposed to be appearing on Strong before they decided he wasn't worth it.
Now I'm not just CRAZY high on Scurll myself anyway cause he rose to prominence when I wasn't paying attention to wrestling as much but I think he's a solid talent regardless

I also thought it was a bit cowardly that NJPW had him film a return and then backed out of it bc word got out bc its not like they were unaware of his situation lol either you're okay with employing him or not, but don't act surprised if there's an internet reaction like they did lmao

I don’t want to reopen a full convo about Scurll, but I am curious about one thing. I remember a year or so back we talked about him and I believe you said you’d be fine with him eventually coming back. Is that still true? Absolutely no worries if not. Just curious.

I think hes admitted to wrong doing n did his time. If the public is ok with him coming back im not opposed so long as he keeps his nose clean
Though to add onto this, I don't think NJPW has ever claimed to take a moral stance so they do have the right to change their minds if they think it will effect their revenue, that's just capitalism. It'd be very hypocritical of they tried to take a moral stand but I don't believe they did

From what I can see the live crowds abroad react well to him being there and the online comments are mostly positive. It’s probably mostly Twitter with the pushback. I think he’d fit in if he went straight to Japan and not Strong. Maybe a few months of bad tweets and then they’d probably be fine.

Until Scurll I was mostly just filling gaps in stables.
And honestly, he’s got ties to Elite, Bullet Club and he had his own stable he could possibly reform. He’d definitely have things to do.
But yeah, I was heavily thinking of taking Taurus and Steve like yesterday and was like I probably have enough tag teams at this point lol
