I think they dropped the ball on this one. Last week, Rampage delivered the goods with Punk…and then they follow it up with a pretty lacklustre Dynamite. I just felt that they had a chance to really ride with the Punk hype, but, it just didn’t do it for me last night. I think his segment was pretty good, it was funny and from the heart, the show in it’s entirety didn’t really do much for me, besides the Lucha Bros.

Punk promo mixed with a hyped main event would capture fans. People coming for Punk aren't staying for Malakai Black and Brock Anderson.

Lackluster? I thoroughly enjoyed Hayter/Velvet and Varsity/Bros, and Hardy/Cassidy was hella fun.

We got Punk hinting Daniel Bryan, Jericho putting retirement up to to defeat MJF, dissention in the Dark Order. A pretty solid episode in my books.

It was lacklustre to me. I don’t think it was the worst show they’ve ever done, but, I feel it just didn’t follow up as well as it could have to rampage. I suppose the problem could be that rampage was so big with Punk’s return, too much may have been expected for Dynamite. Just my opinion.
