Why should nuclear development be controlled? It seems pretty silly to me for certain countries to be able to have nukes, but tell others that nope, you can't have them.

It'll lead to a nuclear building spree and it could lead to a nuclear war if the people who are in charge are not rational enough to think about the consequences.

That's what people thought about the Russians and the Americans. Ever heard of MAD? That's what keeps teh peace with nuclear weapons. Besides. One country can't have nukes and say to another no you can't have them. That's plain wrong. A country should be able to defend themselves appropriately agains these weaposn else they sit above that country like the proverbial Sword of Damocles.

Wow.

I'm surprised by some of the responses here. First off, putting a female in the White House will have no adverse affect on relations at all. As a matter of fact it may even help the US in regards to foreign relations as many countries will likely underestimate her political savvy. Which she has plenty of, after all she had 8 years in the White House as FLOTUS, and then as a senator. She has probably learned a significant amount along the way as to how to do the job.

dont get me wrong. i said the woman has to be extremely exceptional. you cant just let evil creatures who live for jealousy and pain...please, dont get me started on my opinion about women...

I think that there could be a woman president and I'm by no means racist...but I don't want Obama in the White House...I'd rather have Hillary (someone who's already been there and knows the basics) run the country than someone that looks like someone we're at war with...I'm just hoping that the best person suited for the job wins it...and I'll be happy.

How did Bush make us a target for terrorism. The 911 attacks were planned well before Bush took office and there haven't been any attacks on the US since. If anything you should be praising Bush for finally taking a stand abainst terrorist organizations. It may be hard to beleive but terrorism has been a problem since before Bush was elected.

If anything, you can blame Bill Clinton for his light stance on terrorist organizations. Hell even Reagan shares some of that blame for siding with Terrorist groups during the end of the Cold War.

Back to the topic at hand. The US is ready for a female President, just not Hillary Clinton. If you think Bush is bad wait for all the lying, blackmailing and coverups that go on with another Clinton in office. Its freightening.

I think a female president would be a good thing but not HRC. I dont like her, I don't like her politics and I would much rather see someone else be the first woman present, someone to set the bar higher. That being said, if Obama is her VP, I am voting for them because not only do I like Obama as a person, he's one of a scant few politicains who doesnt have his head up his ass and its about damn time one of my people got into the White House!

Exactly, Osama was trained by the CIA. End of story.
