Combat Zone Wrestling returns to the ECW Arena with a loaded ultraviolent show in South Philadelphia on Saturday Night, August 11th, as we present CZW Dishonorable Conduct.

Current Card:
HOMICIDE SIGNS TO COMPETE AT CZW DISHONORABLE CONDUCT...WILL CHALLENGE RUCKUS FOR THE CZW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

Minutes ago, Combat Zone Wrestling received word that the one and only HOMICIDE has accepted the open challenge put out by CZW World Champion
Ruckus for a title match at CZW Dishonorable Conduct, Saturday Night, August 11th LIVE in South Philadelphia at the New Alhambra Arena!

Fans of The Rottweilers and The BLKOUT will finally get to see the two men considered the leaders of their respective factions collide - with the CZW World Title hanging in the balance!

Will Homicide's arrival in CZW mean a short reign for Ruckus? It's no secret that there is A LOT of bad blood between BLKOUT and The Rottweiler factions, and on August 11th, at CZW Dishonorable Conduct, it's put or or shut up time for their respective leaders! There is no way that Ruckus could have expected Homicide to pick August 11th to come for him!

Combat Zone Wrestling returns to The New Alhambra Arena (ECW Arena) with a loaded ultraviolent show in South Philadelphia on Saturday Night, August 11th, as we present CZW Dishonorable Conduct.

- CZW World Championship - BLKOUT's Ruckus defends against The Rottweiler's Homicide!

- Ultraviolent Underground Championship / Stipulation Pending: Brain
Damage Vs. "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger
- CZW World Title: BLKOUT's Ruckus Vs. ?????

Klein Vs. Freakshow Vs. Insane Lane

CZW Dishonorable Conduct News Update for July 23rd

"Unlucky 13 Staple Gun Match" Rules Change

The pride of Cylinder, Iowa, CZW's own Danny Havoc, will meet the returning "Diehard" Dustin Lee on August 11th at CZW Dishonorable Conduct.

With Havoc having a tremendous ultraviolent showing at both TOD VI and BOTB VII, he'll now be out to prove he's ready to get back in the title hunt by entertaining his Philadelphia faithful. Dustin Lee, who also shined at TOD and was certainly welcomed by the CZW fans, will be competing to win over the tough CZW Philadelphia crowd, and what a matchhas been signed between the two!

In an "Unlucky 13 Staple Gun Match", Danny Havoc will face "Diehard" Dustin Lee at CZW Dishonorable Conduct. However, in the interest of competition between these two, and to provide the fans with a true better man, not just a lucky staple or two, CZW Management has decided that the match will only end in PINFALL OR SUBMISSION after 13 staples have been used on an opponent. That's right, a pinfall or submission will decide the match, and only after 13 staples have been used on an opponent.

Drake Younger Vs. Brain Damage Signed for CZW Dishonorable Conduct!

TOD VI Champion "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger is ready to win back the Ultraviolent Underground Championship, but to do so must take on his #1 nemesis, the indestructible cyborg known as Brain Damage. These two will meet on August 11th at CZW Dishonorable Conduct in a rematch of the Tournament of Death VI Finals!

Brain Damage and Drake Younger have expressed their desire to put each other in the hospital come August 11th. Will Drake be able to take back a title he worked so hard to defend? Or will Brain Damage avenge his TOD VI loss and knock Drake's lights out?

More on the stipulations for this brutal match to come!

Scotty Vortekz Wants to Run Cloudy Out of CZW

It's no secret that the "One Hit Wonder" Cloudy has had his share of problems with the reigning CZW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Scotty Vortekz. Be it in a title match or at Best of the Best, Vortekz has had Cloudy's number.

Cloudy, however, looked well on his way to victory at BOTB when he made a mistake. He went to the well one too many times, perhaps. Recalling his biggest CZW win yet, a chaotic Falls Count Anywhere Match with Cheech, Cloudy went for the equalizer in that match - the ladder. He really didn't need it. Vortekz seemed to be on his last legs.

The ladder, it turns out, was just what Vortekz needed. He reversed all of Cloudy's momentum, sent him into the ladder, and put him away to advance in the tournament. Vortekz was reportedly fuming after the match that the Philadelphia fans gave Cloudy a bigger ovation after the match than he got. Vortekz feels that Cloudy can't hang with him after he's beaten him twice now in big-match situations, yet the CZW fans still won't give Vortekz the respect he deserves.

On Saturday Night, August 11th, Scotty Vortekz, perhaps for the last time, will be giving Cloudy a chance to prove himself. And at the same time, give Vortekz a chance to run Cloudy out of CZW.

In a ladder match, Scotty Vortekz will defend the CZW Jr. Heavyweight Title against Cloudy, live at CZW Dishonorable Conduct!

Insane Lane, Freakshow, and Toby Klein Experience "4 Corners of Pain"

Just announced for CZW Dishonorable Conduct is the return of Insane Lane and Freakshow, who along with CZW Iron Man Champion "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein will compete in a three-way "FOUR CORNERS OF PAIN" match on Saturday Night, August 11th!

Freakshow and Insane Lane are back in the Combat Zone after a brutal, bloody first-round TOD VI contest that saw Lane use a barbed-wire bat to choke Freakshow out and advance to the second round of competition! With Toby Klein looking to put the "Insanity" into the CZW Iron Man Title scene, expect a wild match-up in the CZW tradition at CZW Dishonorable Conduct!

Steve Mack and DJ Hyde to Fight it Out at CZW Dishonorable Conduct!

Mack wants to seriously hurt DJ Hyde and Maven Bentley, as seen on CZW DVD exclusives, video updates, live shows where Mack has purchased tickets, and anywhere he believes the promoter and his #1 charge will be appearing.

After months of brawls and pull-aparts between both parties, it was last month where Steve "Monsta" Mack was finally given permission to compete in Combat Zone Wrestling by Bentley, and on Saturday Night, August 11th at CZW Dishonorable Conduct, fans will finally see Maven's Personal Wrecking Ball - "The Lariat" DJ Hyde go head-to-head (perhaps literally!) with Steve "Monsta" Mack! Ouch!

Also appearing at CZW Dishonorable Conduct:

More matches will be announced soon, and the following have been confirmed for CZW Dishonorable Conduct:

The BLKOUT's own CZW World Heavyweight Champion and CZW Tag Team Champion Ruckus, Best of the Best VII Champion "The Cambodian Axe-Murderer" Joker; and back by popular demand courtesy of "The One Man Army" Lobo, the high-flying superstar Ricochet and current IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Champion / Chikara Young Lion's Cup Champion Chuck Taylor!

As a result of some on-the-spot stipulations during their match at “Giant-Size Annual #4,” Austin Aries defeated Rocky Romero for his spot in the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles. Aries will now be the one facing Nigel McGuinness in his PWG debut on Night Two on September 1 in the first match of C Block.

This is Aries’ second appearance in the tournament. Last year, he defeated Disco Machine in the first round before losing to eventual winner Davey Richards in the second round. Aries has been looking to reestablish himself in the Independent wrestling scene after his tenure with TNA ended badly. An impressive showing in the Battle of Los Angeles would certainly put him on the right track as far as the Southern California fanbase is concerned.

2007 Battle of Los Angeles Tournament Brackets

Night One - August 31
A Block
- Chris Hero vs. Joey Ryan
- Chris Bosh vs. Roderick Strong
- Jimmy Rave vs. Matt Sydal
- American Dragon vs. Doug Williams
B Block
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Tyler Black
- Jack Evans vs. PAC

Night Two - September 1
B Block
- CIMA vs. Human Tornado
- Scott Lost vs. Shingo Takagi
C Block
- Austin Aries vs. Nigel McGuinness
- Davey Richards vs. Kevin Steen
- Dragon Kid vs. Susumu Yokosuka
- El Generico vs. Super Dragon

Night Three - September 2
The 6 Second Round Matches, 3 Semi-Final Round Matches and the Triple-Threat Elimination Final Round Match.

Plus Non-Tournament Matches to take place on all three nights including an 8-Man Tag Team Match featuring entrants eliminated in the First Round.

Tickets are on sale now at ProWrestlingGuerrilla.com with left overs to be sold at the door on the all three days. Front Row Seats are $35 per person per night, Second and Third Row are $30, and Generation Admission is $20. A Front Row 3-Night Pass in $90 per person, Second and Third Row 3-Night Passes are $75, and Generation Admission 3-Night Pass is $60.

"Best of the Best VII" Champion Joker Returns at "Dishonorable Conduct" on August 11th!

The winner of this year's "Best of the Best" tournament, BLKOUT's own self-professed "Cambodian Axe-Murderer" Joker, will be returning to action in CZW on August 11th at "Dishonorable Conduct". Will Joker be coming alone? And who is next on the hit-list for the man who went through 5 top stars in one night last month en route to the BOTB crown? Joker's return to CZW means plenty of violence, action, and unpredictability on August 11th for South Philadelphia!

The CHIKARA card is loaded!

I'm hoping The Briscoes actually show up for this show. If they do, it'll be one hell of a match against Icarus and Akuma. Quackenbush vs Romero (Sorry, Black Tiger) should be another good one but I expect Mike to get the win and continue holding the NWA Junior Heavyweight Title.

CHIKARA 8/5 ECW Arena afternoon results

Before a crowd of 350, bordering on astounding for a sunny August Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia, CHIKARA returned to the ECW Arena for "Maximum Overdraft".

Here are the results:

# In a eight man...er...inter-speci....never, mind, four on four match. Jigsaw, Shane Storm), Tim Donst, and the "Communist Bovine" Mos-cow (I don't make these up, folks) and defeated UltraMantis Black and The Southern Saints (Justin Reed, Shawn Reed and Chris Styles) by pinfall when Jigsaw pinned Justin with a superkick. An udderly delightful match.

# Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream, Jr.) (with 2 points) defeated 2.0 (Jagged and Shane Matthews) (with one point). The CHIKARA formula, something that some promotions might emulate, is that a wrestler or tag team has to gain 3 points to challenge for a tag title shot.

# In the continuation of Eddie Kingston demending a match with Hallowicked, Ricochet defeated Eddie Kingston by DQ following a Kingston low-blow. Kingston put a Hallowicked mask on Riccochet and beat on Ricochet post-match, challenging CHIKARA Commissioner Leonard Chikarason to give him the match he wants, with Chikarason saying "it's not time"

# Shayne Hawke defeated Billy Roc.

# In a best 2 of 3 falls Match, Sara Del Rey defeated Daizee Haze, with Daizee Haze won the first fall by pinfall, Sara Del Rey won the second fall when Daizee took a sick bump following a dive, and Sara Del Rey won the third and final fall by pinfall to win the match.

# Leading to intermission were insects galore, as Los Deliriosos (Delirious, with Cloudy...er....Mascarada Deliriocito, and Cheech, er.... Mascarada Delirioso Dos Anos del Mil.) defeated Fire, Soldier, and Worker Ant by pinfall when Delirious pinned Fire. It was hilarious to watch Cloudy and Cheech doing the Delirious gimmick with all the standard Delirious spots. I was half waiting for Eddie Kingston to spray come out and spray the ring with Raid.

# In the post-intermission AAA minis match: La Parkita defeated Payaso del Futuro. Blecch.

# Young Lions Cup Match: Chuck Taylor defeated mystery opponent Drake Younger by pinfall with an Omega Driver. A few wondered if this finish was a message to any other promotions in Philadelphia.

# El Pantera and Lince Dorado defeated The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) in a surprise submission when Hero tapped out to the CHIKARA Special from Pantera. There is a long-term theme where Hero has submitted to three different wrestlers all using this move.

# In an excellent NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match, and surprising to some, Mike Quackenbush retained over Black Tiger IV.

# In a Champions/Non-Title match: CHIKARA Campeones de Parejas Team F.I.S.T. (Gran Akuma and Icarus) defeated ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe). The Briscoes carried a lot of the offense in the match using Icarus as their personal punching bag. Icarus pulled out a killer reverse rana to set up the finish where Jay and Icarus did a modified fish out of water sequence, with Icarus eventually snagged the tights.

Just a thought...Gran Akuma in Ring of Honor, Kingston in a tryout match for Ring of Honor, Briscoes appearing FROM Ring of Honor...anyone for a Ring of Honor-CHIKARA program?

CHIKARA returns to the ECW Arena on Saturday, September 22.
