Alright, two other genres have their's and I decided to start another one. Discuss anything related to Rock or Metal or Nu Metal or Emo or Screamo or whatever you want to call it.

I personally just listened to LP's new CD and I thought it sucked.

Yep LP's new CD sucks major ass except for 1 song which is like their video clip song.

MTM is def no where near meteora, hybrid theory or reanimation. but it doesnt suck!

anyway, thoughts on the rasmus....

Rock is goin to hell and Nickelback has to be the most overrated band of all freaking time.

I agree that Nickelback is overrated, but 10-20 years from now they'll be legends. Other overrated bands in my opinion that are legends now-a-days: The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. I hate both of them.

That's if Nickelback doesn't break up. But I don't think that they will. They will be legends down the road and so will Linkin Park be legends, they already have sold 40 million albums with 2 albums. They will be legends and so will Nickelback and they are both overrated.

Because it was a good song? All I know is the version on UA sounds terrible. The song was fine the way it was.

Sure, Rolling Stones are old bunch of geezers just out to make more cash, but they are legends. They were there in the sixties revolutionizing Rock and they made some pretty amazing albums in their days and in their time they were controversial, dangerous and innovative, which in my opinion rae pretty good things for a rock band. Now, again by my opinion Nickelback has never been any of these and even if I'd liked their music, I'd be reluctant to call them rock or future legends...

Saturday, however I'm going to see true legends as Heaven and Hell are performing here in Finland...

Megadeth was at the same festival yesterday and although I wasn't there due to work, I heard they did a good gig and their latest has been praised from pretty much every direction...
