& biggie could just go in there & spit fire without writeing anythink down
i dont wanna chose cause i like them both but if i had to i would be 2pac

Myself personally I dont like choosing but if I absolutely had to choose, Id go with 2pac by a hair. Like Mat said he changed the landscape of Hip Hop. So many rappers say today that he was their biggest influence so if their was no Pac then its easy to see there wouldnt be alot of other artists.

I believe that one of the most influicel rappers is Lil' Wayne...i mean he definitly is one of my favorite rappers...He rules...his mixtapes are hot...He could sell any song...Plus more...

Eh I like him, but he aint reached mainstream success. I dont know if he influenced too many other rappers cuz his style is so unique, but he is one of the best lyricists in the game today. At this point he isnt a household name yet, like Ludacris, Outkast, or TI. Hardcore Hip Hop fans know him but not too many others he very close though. Give him a couple more hit songs then Id say yeah.

I kinda disagree...because he is a household name...Like anywhere i go...and i talk bout Rap...We always talk about Lil' Wayne...and he is really mainstream...I mean...Ask anyone if they've hear of them..and they have...Fireman was the song that sent him to mainstreamness...

eh I dont know I still wouldnt put him in the league of Eminem, Jay-z, Luda, TI, Three 6 im just saying there are more guys well known cuz theyve had main stream success. Lil Wayne I like him alot but how many people bought his last couple albums? How many hit songs has he had? He is only like 24-25 so he will probaly go down as one of the greatest when its all said and done, just gotta get that success.

I don't see what the big deal about lil wayne is. In my eyes he's an average rapper with minimal skills and to be honest I really don't like any of his songs. Fireman was alright but after a couple listens it got boring quick to me and his lyrics aren't nothing special. I hear people talk about his metaphors and punchlines and all of that but I personally think that they are the worse metaphors/punchlines I ever heard in my life and I don't find him unique in anyway.

Big L I thought was pretty good. He has a new cd coming out this summer, hope they dont his music like they did Pac's

I don't think they'll do that to his music for a couple reasons. 1- alot of today's rap fans don't know who he is. 2- Today's rap fans probably won't like his music because he wasn't snappin' and poppin', shoulder leanin', walkin' it out or any other gay dance that they've come up with in the last 5 seconds so they wouldn't buy it anyway.

Some hip hop news...if you haven't heard I haven't told you guys yet (can't remember a bit sick today) Mase was trying to pick up some trans in Atlanta a couple weeks back...It still hasn't sunk in to Benzino's head that him and Dave Mays are done doing business with the source..."Making the Band" choreographer was fired and claims puffy threatened her...Method Man arrested for weed possession...

What you guys think about Big Pun?

I think he was another beast on the mic...he rapped very quick for his size and his flow was nice in my opinion and Capital Punishment is nothing short of a classic rap album...

Yeah Pun was amazing imo. I heard he and another guy from Terror Squad ghost wrote Fat Joe's rhymes, and Joe still hires writers today. Pun was amazing sucks he passed away.
