Dale, the time has come for your team to be slaughtered.

Might as well of given us a bye to the semis

ROFL Spurs and Liverpool btw, the gifts that keep giving.

I honestly couldn't care lol. Because not only we were never supposed to make it this far, but Arsenal are the only other team who I would want to actually win something, so for me it's a win win situation :D

What a week in the cup. Villa did it the hard way as normal. Not a bad draw away to Norwich, it won't be easy because of the Lambert factor and because Norwich like us will want to use the cup to boost their league form. it could have been worse (Chelsea, Arsenal, Leeds), but it could have been better too (Bradford, Middlesborough). But its the last eight so I can't complain. Leeds-Chelsea and Bradford-Arsenal should be the outstanding ties.

Its a reserve cup in everything but name, its a huge waste of time IMO, really don't care about it and never have.

Means about as much as the Emirates Cup to me.

Yeah natureing you say that when you thought you were going out. You would take it.

I'm going to break Wootton's fucking legs. If that bastard hadn't of conceded the penalty I would've been 500£ better off... twat.

That was a great smashing of us co... oh, nevermind. Imo that was one of our better performances of the season and i was happy with the defence for once. Good goal from Carzola at the end though and credit to the Arsenal fans.

We should of bought Mike Dean instead of Andre Santos, how much did Man Utd pay for him?

Are you on crack? Both players got warnings before their second yellows. I knew you'd bring up something and not just accept you lost. You were shocking all game.

Cleverley and RVP cripple Sagna - nothing.
Wilshere does the same to Evra - Red.

Penalty at Old Trafford happens every week so I expected that and won't moan, but the ref was as terrible as Santos and Ramsey.

The referee was not terrible. RVP got a deserved yellow on Sanga, and Cleverly got a yellow. BOTH players (wilshere and cleverly) were warned after bad challenges they made after their yellow, and Fergie made the right choice in subbing Cleverly off. Maybe if Wenger wasn't so slow he would've also subbed Wilshere off. The Penalty? It was a clear Penalty, I don't care if the ball was going for his face, the rules are no handballs, he's paid what 100k plus a week or whatever? I'd take a ball to the face each weekend if I was getting paid 400 quid a month ffs.

Whatever, you didn't deserve the win. Your first shot on target came in the 92nd minute, and apart from Carzola's goal, your attacking players were nowhere to be seen.

You are talking like you dominated us, it was a terrible game and neither deserved to win.

I never said we dominated you, BUT we had plenty of chances compared to you, and should've won by 3 or 4. I agree that it was a shocking game though.

I ain't paying attention it just makes me laugh how he sits on Twitter each week spouting it out when you guys lose, thinking he's the biggest Arsenal fan in the world. I tweeted him saying he should become manager, and see how he fares.

Wenger is still one of the best, I think your owners are shit.

That was an awful game.

There was just no fire from any of the Arsenal whatsoever, they almost seemed content on keeping the game within a one goal margin. Only positives to take out of that game was Mannone's good performance in goal, and the consistently great away fans who didn't stop signing. Everything else was terrible.

I'm really starting to worry where the goals will come from this season. I like Giroud and Podolski, but you just can't count on them to score. Then there's our lack of width in the team, our shady defence, and our problem with injuries. I still expect us to finish fourth this season, but even still, all of our problems were really exposed today.

Summed up perfectly, althrough I agree with cork about Morgan being a wanker. lol

Anyway moving on...
Vital win for Villa today what with Sunderland being in our area of the table and with the likes of Utd, Arsenal and City coming up we needed to give our selfs some breathing space. Bentakle is starting to look like a great buy and it is promising that he is only 21. Hopefully the cup form can give us confidence in the league. Don't like to hear about Sunderland fans putting preasure on O'Neill already he turned them around last season, but now he needs time to build his own team as long as they improve on last season that should be enough for the fans.
