The latest word on John Cena’s injury is that he’s recovering slowly from the elbow surgery. It remains to be seen if Cena will be ready for Hell In a Cell and may end up being a “down to the wireâ€￾ decision. It was expected that WWE would have a solid answer on Monday’s RAW but that’s not confirmed.

- One idea that was discussed at RAW this past week was to have Cena be the special referee for CM Punk vs. Ryback at Hell In a Cell, if they have to go with Ryback as the challenger.
I guess that rybacks big push will come sooner than expected.

Meh, nothing unsurprising. They need to keep holding off on the Ryback/Punk match as long as they can as the suspense will finally make it worthwhile rather than rushing straight into it.

It's a lose/lose situation if Ryback faces Punk at HITC. He loses he loses a lot of steam. He wins he gets way too much too soon and ruin what they could have in him long term. The longer the hold off the more special it will be and better it will be for Ryback.

Oh trust me, Wigger Jorts will miraculously no-sell the Dr.'s recommendations and will magically get cleared just in time for his next meaningless 3 month title reign.

If Cena can't go and they go with Punk/Ryback I see the match going no contest with possibly a whole bunch of run ins..... Foley, McMahon, Lesnar, Trips... This way Ryback keeps his streak and looks strong and they keep the strap with Punk heading towards Survivor Series.

How do you pull a no contest in a HITC match though when there pretty much has to be a winner?

The match will probably end the PPV as well, so anything not resulting in a winner will probably leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Double pin is really the only thing I can think of and that was just done.

Here's how you do it, you amateurs:

When SuperCena does the 5 moves of Doom and puts Punk down for the 1,2... have all the lights in the arena go completely to black.

Then lower Black and White "Crow" Sting from the rafters on a wire and have him enter the cage and interfere in the match before the tv feed goes off the air.

(well, this is what I would do if I were Vince Russo, lol)

Heyman conks the outside ref on the head to get the key and let Lesnar in, then Foley comes down and conks Heyman on the head to get the key from him and let himself in, then McMahon comes down and when Ryback, Foley and Vince can't handle Punk and Lesnar. boom HHH's music hits and out he comes... All refs knocked out PPV ends in a 6 or 7 man brawl.... There's how it's done. Will it happen, probably not.

What if the Repo Man were to come sneaking out from under the ring, hooked up a tow cable to the Cell, and then snuck back to the Titan tron area and hooked it up to a tow truck, pulling the Cell down and collapsing it? Cena and Punk wouldn't be able to finish the match!

All I'm saying is, if Cena can't go they have to come up with some way for Punk to keep the title and also not kill the monster push of Ryback. it sucks for them that the match is in a Cell cause that takes away all the cheap ways to finish it while accomplishing both... They better hope Cena makes it or we're gonna see a clusterfuck finish that won't make much sense... That is unless they put the title on Ryback which i don't think anybody is ready for

Oh and I will admit that when I first posted the no contest finish idea, it may have slipped my mind that the main event at the Hell in a Cell PPV would take place in a cell... it's 1:30 and I've had some beers

Well they can always have an interference happen. Like I bet this won't happen but what if Brock Lesnar interferes to help punk?

Yeah, it's too soon for Ryback to get such a huge match. It's like his hinting the last few weeks that he's going after Punk that he'll actually get a PPV main event? I don't know how I can take that all that seriously. Ryback is still facing jobbers for the most part and should continue going up the roster. It's too big of a jump at the moment but he should still try to show to the higher up guys that he is coming.
