I'll make these for other defunct companies too when I get some more time, but I thought this would be a good idea to have a general discussion thread for companies that are no longer here, can be used if you're just watching some old stuff or if you were just thinking about shit from 20+ years ago lol

And on that note, 27 years ago the match-up of the century of Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair in a STEEL CAGE match happened at Halloween Havoc. Great fucking match btw too, made up for some questionable undercard booking which included Jim Duggan beating a young Steve Austin for the United States title :lol

Trying to figure out this life thing, what about you
I keep meaning to make my way through WCW more thoroughly. Seen bits and pieces of their work and loved it. That is one thing I wish I had deep dived more when I had access to the content.

On this day in WCW history, Halloween Havoc 1993 which featured one of my favorite matches in company history in Cactus Jack vs Vader in a Texas Death match. The rest of the show was solid from what I remember too, don't have any vivid memories from these other matches tho but what names lol Rick Rude vs Ric Flair, Sting vs Sid Vicious, Dustin Rhodes vs Steve Austin, Paul Orndorff vs Ricky Steamboat, Lord Steven Regal vs Davey Boy Smith, Nasty Boys vs Marcus Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio

Arguably the most famous Halloween havoc happened in this date in 1998....only it might be famous for the wrong reasons as it had Hogan vs Warrior and the main event getting cut off for multiple broadcasters

More Halloween Havoc history as this day 24 years ago saw what many say is the best match in WCW history when Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero battled on a title vs mask match

In today's Haloween Havoc history, the legendary Chamber of Horrors match happened :garrett

Along with a legitimate banger in Luger vs Ron Simmons in the main event
