Well the transfer window is open once again in the Premier League and most clubs will be looking to solidify they're team, be it defence, Midfield or Forward. Their will be a lot of money spent this Summer with teams like Chelsea and Manchester City with large amounts to splash as usual. So far the main two transfers have been with Jordan henderson leaving the black cats to liverpool for a fee of £20 million and Phil Jones who left Blackburn Rovers to join Manchester United for a fee believed to be £15 million. Its interesting to note these two players are both English born young players, Henderson (20) Jones (19). For fees in this range a few years back you would be spending this money on proven foreign players.

So does any Premier League fans wish to share who they would like to see at they're club or who they believe will be on the move this summer?

Great thread man. I will be posting on this daily or most of the time. Speaking of Man Utd, they are about to get my pick for signing of the season in Ashley Young. I am not sure where he fits with Nani around, but I would assume they would drop Valencia to the bench because he's not very special. Young is a top notch talent and with this move, I can't see Man Utd lose the title. Now if they can add Modric to the team, they are going to rule the EPL and have a good shot to unseat Barcelona for the title. Other than that, not much moves now. Henderson went to Liverpool which is an interesting move, but I haven't seen enough of him. I think he is a bit overhyped but maybe I am wrong. Jones is an excellent move, he can learn from the best at Man Utd to form a partnership with Smalling.

As a Tottenham fan, a striker is a must. If they don't get a striker, they aren't going to go anywhere. I really fear that Liverpool is going to make a run for 3rd and Tottenham could drop even further. Tottenham and Arsenal are in serious trouble to get in the top four with all these moves that are happening. If Tevez leaves Manchester City which is very likely they are in trouble as well with Ballotelli and Dzeko not proving themselves yet. Tottenham has to keep Modric as well otherwise it's going to be a tougher task. Also selling Gomes would be a smart move because he is a mistake waiting to happen. Other than that, I don't know what else. I think this team is very solid and could make a run. Kyle Walker should be back to challenge Corluka for the right back spot. Right back is a bit of a problem, but I have confidence that Corluka will step up or Walker.

Manchester United are looking money hungry, with rumors of them wanting to sign Angel Di Maria or Luka Modric...

I believe Manchester United will be a huge asset with rumors of Berbatov leaving for $10m (Even though I believe he's worth a bit more) to PSG. A few clubs are after him so I could see him leaving for around 15-17m

Ashley Young has signed a 5-year deal with Manchester United.

They have been quiet for a couple of years so it doesn't surprise me that they are finally spending some money on players. They are losing a few veterans to retirement and that will free up a bit of cash as well.

Andrew do you think any more Australians will be in the PL next season?

In my honest opinion, all Australians should keep the F--k away from EPL or Europe. We have no good players here, even in A-League, it's the worse League in the world. Seriously, I don't even pay attention to it because it's that bad Troy. I'll get negative comments about it but that's my opinion, we get a bunch of Brazillians to play here for us... in Australian talent most of them head to Germany or Netherlands, that's where soccer suits them best.

Damn, I like following the Australians in the Premier League and I was hoping that we would get a couple more into the league this year. We seem to have a few talented youngsters that are rarely mentioned in Australian press since they have always played in Europe rather than starting in the A-League.

I believe a few Aussies play for Leicester and QPR... Either way, don't care for our Australians playing the big leagues really. I don't even follow Australia in the friendlies and such...

Never have and probably never will, I love watching the European players over Australians.

True their is a huge difference in talent but I think the more Australians playing in top leagues the better the Socceroos will be and they will play more attractive football.

I can't really comment on the A-league and its talent as i've never seen a game played there haha, The most i've seen of it is when they did these segments on Soccer AM which mocked the league.

Phil Jones? Bout time we got a Centre Back!

Manchester United also got David De Gea as a Goalkeeper, good move there.

Some good trades are going around. Newcastle loves getting their Nigerian players and one move I did notice....

Tottenham gets Friedel for free...

Im an Everton fan and to be realistic, if we dont get a takeover then we wont be doing much.

About Australians, we have one of the best if not the best current Australian player at the moment with Tim Cahill. He proves that Austrailians can do well in the EPL and hes currently one of our best players.

I dont see us holding on to Jack Rodwell for much longer as he is a tremendous talent and lots of big clubs are after him.

I am really worried that we will lose most of our good players to bigger clubs this season like Baines, Heitinga, Rodwell, Coleman, Arteta, Neville, Cahill etc

^ Thats a huge problem with talent, Money takes them else where. Im a United fan and we have never really paid out that much, Well maybe for Veron but he was terrible haha. It seems in this current climate players will go where the money is eg. Chelsea, City. If only there was more players like Le Tissier was we could solidify the fact the best football league is in England.

So anybody who has been keeping up with the transfer window will know the three big names who have been circling the media are Luka Modric, Samir Nasri and Carlos Tevez. The recent news on Modric is that he and his agent visited the Tottenham chairman yesterday and they seem to have come to an agreement that Luka will be staying, Or more the case the chairman set it in stone he could not move. The chairman mentioned that this was not about money and to regain that champions league spot they lost out to last season they will need to keep their best player. The likelyhood of Tottenham being in the top 4 next season is increasing greatly has Arsenal's Clichy already leaving the club for City, Fabregras maybe opting to leave for Barcelona, Which brings me to the almost imminent transfer of Nasri.

Nasri has been one of the more talked about players in the transfer window with Chelsea and both Manchester clubs in the hunt. It seems he has made it clear that he wants a move from Arsenal, With reports saying he would prefer a move to United...Thats the tabloids for you though. It seems most players want to go where the money is obviously and Chelsea and City can make a greater offer and wage for the player. Personally has a United fan i think he would be a suitable replacement for Paul Scholes who has now retired, He will also be able to offer United one thing Scholes couldn't in later years...The endurance to play the majority of the season. Sure he isn't up to par when it comes to the tremendous passing and long ball prowess Scholes provided(neither are many) But he would offer some great dribbling skills and the ability to set up the likes of Rooney, Chicharito and Berbatov. Well thats my personal bid for Nasri at United haha.

Then we come to Teves who never seems settled wherever he moves, He has had his best football of his career so far at City no doubt and will be a huge blow for them. They will need Ballotelli and Dzenko to step their game up this season if they want to challenge for the Premier league title. As for where Teves will go im sure most of the top clubs in the world will be looking to sign the Argentinian, But City have stated they won't settle for less than 50 million which is a steep number to say the least. Teves made it clear the reason for him wanted to leave Manchester was to spend more time with his children in Argentina, But can anyone see any Argentine clubs dishing out 50 million for the striker? I wouldn't be suprised if we saw Tevez join la liga, Probably opting for Malaga or more likely Real Madrid has im sure he will want Champions league football.
