SmackDown Live Fox not happy with recent Smackdown Segment.

Hidden Blaze

The Wanted Man
As we noted earlier on the site, a segment featuring Jeff Hardy tossing a jar of ‘urine’ into the face of Sheamus was edited out of the West Coast airing of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX last week.

A commercial was inserted into the segment, which broke up the segment and removed the urine tossing. The reason for that was due to FOX not being thrilled with the segment.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this happened because FOX stated that the segment violated its standards and practices.

Yeah at first I thought when I saw the story it was going to be that segment. Seems this one is pretty tame compared to the one with the drunk driving.

TV networks have weird black and white rules like the no-no words so I could see just the fact that piss was shown on screen the way it was being the actual problem and not even the content of the segment when you get down to it :lol

It amazes me at the level of fucked up stuff you can show on TV-PG or even TV-14 as long as you just don't say fuck or show a titty though

What amazes me is I've seen Friday the 13ths on TV with full gore in tact, but the moment a girl takes her shirt off it's censored af.

I think that's just an American thing too, like we're much more lenient with violence and gore (ESPECIALLY if it's off screen but still heavily talked about and also described which is just as bad for me really). I think Europe from what I've heard is more the opposite, they censor gore but are more lenient with sexual things. Could be wrong there though

One movement I’m sure we can all get behind is the free the nipple campaign. Like I honestly don’t get it. We could be shirtless on tv and oh totally cool. But because women have these fun bags they can’t? So dumb.

It's possible. I know in Japan they give zero fucks about nudity.

I don't think public decency laws need a full overhaul because there's definitely a difference between male and female breasts, but sex in general when it comes to our art doesn't need to be such a taboo. At least not more so that violence, gore, swearing and other mature themes.

Nudity has literally never bothered me whatsoever in any form of art. The only times I can really think of it is when it felt forced like an unnecessary sex scene that they just threw in for tits. It's more egregious to me that people wear clothes in somethings when it's unrealistic :lol

Like women who are wearing sports bras after a sex scene?

Tbf tv shows have gotten better about this without showing anything, but man is it funny when they just had sex and the girl is only half-naked.

I can accept camera cuts if you just don't want to show the nudity but yeah stuff like that annoys me. I really liked in Chernobyl they had this random scene where all the miners were just walking around naked with their dicks flopping around because that's what really happened when they were trying to fix stuff after the explosion bc it was so hot or something :lol I want accuracy more than anything really
