Same shit I said  They gave it to Reggie Evan and he wasn't even in the game so think it'll be a stat correction.

Sure, but it's not a battle of each player vs. his potential. It's player vs. player. And as much as I want to make the argument for Dwight, Shaq in his prime was a more dominant player overall. It's completely unfair to compare their Orlando careers, seeing as how Shaq's only lasted four years. Compare Shaq's first four years to Dwight's first four (or, if you want to be fairer to Dwight, his 2nd-5th years). Dwight needed a couple of years to become almost as good as Shaq was immediately.
I would not use years 1 or 2 personally. Dwight was not the full time center to year 3 in Orlando. Remember that they drafted him to be their starting PF and hate Cato from the Francis and Mobley being used as the C?

I like how when the Lakers are getting their ass kicked you're never able to find Showtime or PSYCH but when they're winning you can't get rid of them.

"But Kobe, what happens if you're really unsuccessful and you keep shooting anyway?"

"You're welcome."

Came home to a blowout. Got out of class and was home when the third was half way done. Going to have to watch. One thing I know and can't stand though is how much Mike's offense fucking sucks. The team has scored 100 points once in 16 games. I can't think of the last time LA had a dry stretch like that even with Smush and Kwame

??? Sorry I wasn't here?

I haven't really been much of a homer here, I think, and I've been critical of team and haven't really said they're the best or anything and are going to win it this year. I'm also usually not saying much when they're winning.

I didnt understand why Kobe played the whole 4th quarter. They were never within single digits even when Kobe went on his 12 point streak or whatever it was.

Because Mike Brown wants to get raped by Orlando tomorrow even worse than they were raped tonight.

2 things made me laugh about Browns shit offense the past 2 days now that I watched them on DVR

- Kobe asking Lisa Salters what size jersey she needed because she couldn't possibly miss more open shots than the guys he was giving it to
- Fisher complaining to Steve Kerr about Brown calling every play and action as to who gets the ball until the fourth when Kobe gets free reign, as he says that is the opposite of Phil who let them play

Those 2 comments spa out sums it up. They need someone to hit some fuckign 3's consistently with Blake down and Brown needs to let triangle players fucking read and react as Phil and Tex never believed in a set call. I mean Kobe, Fisher, Walton, and Bynum have basically spent their whole careers int he triangle. Pau's efficency was world better in it than in Memphis or now. Barnes played well under Phil when he wasn't asked to create off the dribble. And most importantly MWCrap was minimized as he was told fling 18 foot 3's from the corner over 22 foot 3's from the top to build his brick houses

It really has nothing to do with any of that. Would we be better in a triangle? Maybe. Would it help us win a championship or even get close? Not at all.

We need a consistent three point shooter, Fisher, Morris, Goudelock all shoot bricks from out there 80% of their shots it seems, as well as player that can drive in to make defenses collaspe. Barnes has somewhat done that, but he isn't good enough to actually playmake on his drives so they usually just end up with a shot. We also need a head coach that can actually coach, Mike Brown should be a career assistent that just specializes in defense, nothing more, because not being able to create a playbook whatsoever(I don't care if there was lockout or not) is completely unacceptable and so is not resting your players when the team is getting blown out two nights in a row. Cut your losses and just rest them, it's a short season and HCA shouldn't really matter for the Lakers anymore because of their experience.

Surprised neither of you brought up the fact that they have zero bench support. In this season being condensed a bench is as important as it's ever been esp in the case with the Lakers where Kobe is gonna wear out playing all these minutes with little time to rest.
