Some God damn excellent matches here. While I'd say Takagi vs. Ospreay is the best based off sheer in ring excellence... Cody vs. Dustin was the more emotional and story driven, and it will be the match I remember most a decade from now.

I actually went with Shingo/Ospreay here as one of the few NJPW matches I've seen this year but I just think it was slightly better than WALTER/Bate which I'd have as my WWE MOTY. I'd rank Cody/Dustin over the other two WWE matches nominated here as well.

It's tough between Shingo/Ospreay and Dustin/Cody.. Both were excellent for different reasons... I'll vote for Dustin and Cody, such great storytelling in that match.

Also... weird to make that statement without having Ospreay/Takagi. Maybe if you saw it you would understand why people nominated it. :lol

Not questioning that.

I'm saying it's odd to be surprised that Ospreay/Takagi made the cut... even though you never watched the match.

Which, by the way, is posted in the media section. It's worth a watch. Especially knowing your affinity for fast paced matches.
