His highest rated singles matches according to Meltzer are WrestleWar '90 and Starrcade '88 both against Flair at 4 1/2 stars. Both are definitely great, and I'd say the WrestleWar one is my favorite but it does have the CO finish which kinda hurts it, but I think it has better pacing at 30 minutes than the Starrcade one at like 40...that '88 Starrcade is still my favorite of all time tho
Starcade 88 was one of my favorite ppvs ever. I remember watching it when it occurred. Damn, I'm old as fuck, lol.
It's a shame that match didn't get 5 stars. Flairs promo afterwards was pure brilliance. He treated wrestling as a legit sport and not a circus, unlike today's wrestlers.
I broke more stories than he has just on random speculation.I trust the opinions of folks here more than Meltzer.
Never forget OMB isn't impressed with Scarlett's looks

I still don't think it'll amount to much considering the wild card rule came like a week after the shakeup earlier this year.
WWE just doesn't know how to stick to a brand split. You have to make real effort to make the shows look and feel different.
