I know it's early seeing as how the season hasn't started yet and I'm already thinking about next year, but here are a few things I'm suggesting for next years league settings:

Streaming Constraint #1: Increased player bench to 3 slots.
- It's not really hard to get trades done now, but if you've got an unstoppable force of a roster like I do you feel a little discouraged to trade. If I had another bench spot I might be able to throw something together.

Streaming Constraint #2: Max moves per week from 5 to 4
- I like streaming and all, but we should try limiting it a little more so that every roster move has more meaning.

Rotating Commish Duties every year
- Not sure who was Commish in 2009. It was SAL last year I believe, and this season I'm the David Stern of this league. I'm not sure I'll want to do it again next year. HOW ABOUT BRANDON? LOL

The Newbies Safeguard 'Basketball Reasons' Trade Committee
- Just a set committee of GMs that have the right to veto lopsided trades involving new members to the league.

League Expansion: 16?
- If all 14 stick around we will obviously have to consider expansion again.

I think it was switched like 8 times in 2009 between Sal, Brandon, PSYCH, PHX, and maybe one other person because nobody really wanted to do it.

The GM thing think it has to stay within the people who are usually in this league as far as the rotation goes. And the trade idea won't work because it'd just end up being a conflict of interest.

maybeeeee. But if the people on the committee were vetoing trades for their own benefit and not to protect newer members from getting ripped off I'd say we picked a pretty shitty committee.

and for the record they'd only be in place to veto trades that involved new members to the league. Not every trade would go through the committee.

I could see the new members trades thing working. Have a 3 person panel of veteran users look over it and decide. Though it might piss off the new members as well as the veteran member trying to pull off the ripoff trade enough that they'd leave the league. Not so much the veteran but the new guy I could see it for sure.

Protecting new members, safeguarding the integrity of the league. If you win the league this year (lol the season hasn't even started yet, and we haven't even seen any results yet) I'm going to push hard for this next season. smurf

My whole philosophy for the season is to take advantage of the half season format.
