Alright, kind of a long post here but I promised [MENTION=53]Booty Wyatt[/MENTION] that I'd do it and I always deliver the goods so here goes.
Bro Man's vs. PTP - Not only has the potential to be a decent in-ring match, the comedic elements should come into play several times as well. Should be a fun and relatively short opener to get the crowd pumped. Prediction - PTP
Bella Twins vs. TBP - I wish this match was a little later in the card because I wouldn't normally have to go to the bathroom this early. Anyhow, there's a lot of hotness in the ring and some relatively skimpy clothes so I expect a nip slip or three here. Prediction - TBP
Big E vs. Robbie T - Decent enough power match but I'd be worried about the potential for some botchtastic hijinks here. If its kept short enough, it should be pretty inoffensive and relatively high impact. Prediction - Big E
Rey/Cara vs. Chavo/Hernandez - MEXICO EXPLODES!!! Like the match before, there's definitely the possibility of some injuries occuring here, particularly when Cara and Hernandez are in the ring together. I'd like to see Chavo get some measure of revenge on Cara after having to job out to him in his last WWE match and a double border toss would also be great. Prediction - Chavo/Hernandez
William Regal vs. Doug Williams - ENGLAND EXPLODES!!! Just kidding, but this should be a hell of a match, with a lot of strategic mat wrestling and some nifty counters. I'd liken this to watching human chess and in that game, the black knight Regal should come out on top in the third and final fall. Prediction - William Regal
Young Bucks vs. Gabriel/Kidd - While I think the match has the potential to be an absolute show stealer, I'd be lying if I said I'm happy to see the Bucks here. They're one of the top two tag teams in the US right now and should be in a higher profile match. Still, it'll be nice to see them and Kidd fly around like crazy. Prediction - Young Bucks
Tara vs. Natty - NOW I CAN GO TO THE BATHROOM!!! Seriously though, I like both girls so this is a decent little filler match. I've got to stick with Natty because I think she's more attractive, but I'd also like an appearance from the spider. Prediction - Natty
Mark Henry vs. Michael Elgin - This is like the main course that started with the appetizer of Big E vs. Robbie T. Definitely some major power here and the potential to be the hardest hitting affair of the night. If these guys got about 15 minutes, they could work some real magic and the winner would be very tough to call. Prediction - Michael Elgin
KoW vs. Gunner/Storm - Personally I would have swapped out Gunner/Storm for the Young Bucks here, but that's just the Bucks fanboy in me drooling over the prospect of that match. In the meantime, this one should be a hell of fun, should probably be about 20-25 minutes and should definitely be worked in an old school Southern style. Definite MOTN potential. Prediction - KoW
Wyatt's and Kane vs. Misfit Castoffs - Couldn't think of another name for the hybrid RoH/TNA team because my brain was occupied trying to figure out how much madness this match is going to contain. I pretty much expect everyone here to be half dead by the end as its a true war of attrition. Prediction - Wyatt's and Kane
Robert Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler - Yay, the IT factor vs. Mr. Overrated. No, I'm not hiding my intense dislike of Ziggler because after all, someone on the internet has to be against him right? Anyhow, should be a good match with Ziggler doing his Mr. Perfect style overselling everywhere and Roode being a total dickbag to both him and the crowd. In the end, it'll be a close call and even though I don't like Ziggler that much, it should be another MOTN contender. Prediction - Robert Roode
War Games - Holy crap, I just realized that this match also takes out the potential Bucks/Shield match, which sucks because it would kick ass. Anyhow, other than the fact that it seems a little bit thrown together, I like the idea because it'll allow me the opportunity to see Richards and Edwards get the SHIT kicked out of them by everyone else. Hell, I hope Cole and the Briscoes turn on them during the match and really beat them to a pulp! Prediction - Team WWE
Daniel Bryan vs. Austin Aries - These guys have sick chemistry so this should be an all-time classic. They'd also have no problem going the 60 since they've done over that in the past (76 minutes in 2004 IIRC) so yeah, this pretty much fucking rules the whole world. I take back my thoughts on Aries/Punk, this is a much better choice and I can only hope its a relatively clean affair. Prediction - Daniel Bryan
Overall a really awesome looking card from top to bottom but I have one question...how fucking long is this show going to be? I mean, the main event alone is an hour, and looking over the card I can see it being something like 4.5 hours long. Not that I'm complaining, but I hope they don't stop serving beer at the 2.5 hour mark at the venue or there's gonna' be a fucking riot in the house! Seriously though, great work coming up with this Jake, I'm sure it'll turn out well and if you want any help don't hesitate to ask, I'll be here for you.
: I have no idea how you can hate the Young Bucks but to each their own I guess. I definitely appreciate the stiffness in KoW vs. Gunner/Storm, I just think Bucks/KoW would be the better match from an overall in-ring standpoint.
