What do you guys think of Bret Hart as GM so far? I think he's been decent at best, for some reason I don't see him keeping the job for long especially when Vince said "i hope your stay has a happy ending" or something along those lines. That teases something bad is gonna happen to him, I'd rather see Bret manage the Hart Dynasty and they bring in someone like Abraham Washington to GM RAW.

Thoughts on Bret as GM so far?

I'm sure that we all wanted to see Bret stay longer than WM. This just happened to be the outlet. Give him some time to gel into the GM position. He needs to learn when to speak at the right time and not look awkward. The first segment in the ring where he was with Teddy Long, it looked like he was out of place, maybe it's just me.

He definitely looked out of place, but I think he can pull off this position off of his status and wrestling knowledge alone.

The simple fact he calls himself the best their ever will be is enough clout to give current Superstars (heels) heat with him, and faces a reason to step up. Bret needs to be a tweener though, give a guy like Cena hell for not giving it his all, and at the same time turn and talk shit about Edge... that would make his character more successful imo.

So far it's been a bit rough, but they've done everything they could to turn the focus away from him, it seems. Just a matter of time before we see him utilized more.

I think it's fucking dumb he even came back at all. I love seeing a legend return as much as the next guy but to take a job as gm? Too much. Although I guess the Hart Marks love it, I would mark out if Rock took a GM position.

I actually have hated the entire idea of have a "GM." I've hated the entire idea of have a roster split and a lottery draft. It's stupid.

Yeah, it's so fucking Blue that Bret took a GM role yet it's cool if The Rock takes it.

Hey, let's turn down big money in Hollywood to be a Raw GM.

Teddy Long so did not suggest an idea to Bret on Raw, he was straight up telling him what to say. Bret would say three useless words then look at Teddy with this stare like "do something you lazy ass"

Right now i just don't see the point of Bret Hart as GM. He' s not really actively involved in any angles. Just seems like he's is there cause he is bored sitting home. I'd say just have him manage a Hart Dynasty stable.

To be honest, I thought WWE would make Abraham Washington the new RAW GM. But Bret "The Hitman" Hart is a good choice as well. But he obviously made a mistake with the NXT Season 1 Rookies this past WWE Monday Night RAW.

As much as I love Bret, I loved him as a kid and I still hold his wrestling career in high regard.

But watching him talk and constantly and painfully say "WWF" is painful, at times I just want to change the channel when he is talking, my god. I know he was never anything special on the mic, but JESUS!!! He is horrid.
