Portable Ops was ok, i'll leave it at that.

Chains of Olympus maintains all the God of War badass-ness on the PSP. No downgrades at all. Too bad the game is so short.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is the best one imo

No no no no no I gotta disagree. MGS2 was definitely my favorite. Raiden was pretty weak but I thought the story and gameplay techniques were absolutely brilliant, I really enjoyed the setting as well. MGS3 looks better with CQC but none of the other characters were better than their MGS2 counterparts other than Zero to Campbell.
