In a shocking twist of events Vince McMahon revived his defunct 2001 promotion the XFL for a new 2020 season. McMahon wanted to once again see the NFL face competition to make the sport of Football great again. Inspired by this revelation another defunct 2001 promotion is getting a revival. Oliver Thawne of the Omega Media Group has negotiated the sale of the XWF trademarks from SunWest Management Services, LLC and simply acquired the remaining defunct IP that had expired since its last attempt at life in 2011. Thawne felt compelled to do this for the same reason as McMahon for the love of professional wrestling and the desire to give fans of the sport some much needed competition against the vast wrestling empire in a neat sense of irony as well.



Wrestling is ready to return back to the fans.

The XWF will premiere with the absolute best wrestlers in the world today, doing battle in the most extraordinary nonstop matches and adrenaline-filled sports entertainment ever witnessed in the squared circle, with the ultimate goal of making this the greatest time ever to be a wrestling fan. We aim to make the XWF the new benchmark for superstars and fans alike.
