I have been recently watching ROH DVDs and have been blown away by KENTA. Why hasn't WWE invested more in doing their scouting on places like Japan where they have a ton of experienced workers they can sign as free agents?
The main reason, in all honesty, is promo ability. Many within WWE feel if you can't cut an effective promo, you won't get over with the audience, no matter how talented you are. I don't agree with that, and occasionally WWE might give a moderate push to a Japanese star, but it never lasts. Looking over recent WWE history, the only Japanese performers that have lasted with the company are Funaki, who is a lower-card comedy gimmick, and Tajiri, who had incredible charisma and is definitely the exception, not the rule, in WWE.
Who do you think would make for a fitting opponent for Undertaker's last match ever?
From a storyline perspective, Kane makes a lot of sense, but Undertaker always beats him, so I don't know if it would have that much appeal.
What is the greatest tag team finisher of all time?
For me, the tag team finishers I've always liked are the Doomsday Device by the Road Warriors, the Veg-A-Matic by the Midnight Express, Total Elimination by the Eliminators, and 3D by Team 3D. But my all time favorite was the British Bulldogs finisher where Davey Boy Smith would place one opponent over his shoulders in a fireman's carry after having slammed the other opponent. Smith would tag Dynamite Kid, who would jump off the top rope, springboard off the back of the person Smith was carrying, and come down with the flying headbutt.
Predict the Wrestlemania main event, right now.
Well, the way things are going these days in terms of WWE suspensions, we might be seeing Big Daddy V vs. CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy in a three-way dance as the main event. Seriously, I will go with Triple H vs. John Cena. Out of the current roster, I think that is the match that would have the most interest.
Why did Sandman stop drinking beer during his ring entrance?
I'm going to guess it has something to do with Steve Austin making more appearances lately, and WWE not wanting anyone else to have the beer drinking gimmick (even though Sandman had it long before Austin did).
