X Division Weight Limit

Ok, I was just watching the first part of the iMPACT replay, and I just thought of something. If the MCMG and Lethal beat Team 3D at AAO (Which they will), then the X Divison sets a weight limit for 275 lbs. Now if I'm not mistaken, Samoa Joe isn't under that. So he's done with the X Division? LOL, and the funniest part about it all, is that Shelley said there would be weekly weighs in's to make sure that fat slobs don't take advantage. :laugh:

Not good. They should just ban 3d from the X division, not the other fat people. If it really happens, then what would happen to Steiner's X division shot? It would just make X div another cruiserweight title, and that is not something I anticipate seeing. X division should be about fast-paced wrestling action, whether you're fat or not shouldn't be a problem.

I think they are transforming the X-Division title into a mid card title. The bad part about the weight limit is that it completely ruins the point of the X-Division, you know.."its not about weight limits, its about no limits". But, I think it will make the title seem more important and in a way it can finally define what an X-Division wrestler is.

I preferred it when therew wasn't any weight limits imo, it gave TNA something unique about the X-Division so it wasn't compared to WWE's CW division. Phantom, I was also thinking about Steiner's title shot too, but I think him and Petey will have a match at AAO and the winner gets to choose briefcases. As for Joe, he won't be returning to the X-Div any time soon anyway so who needs to worry about him...

And look at Kevin Steen. He's incredibly agile for a guy his size and would fit well into the x division, but if a weight limit is implemented and TNA signed Steen, he would be lost as he isn't good enought to be mainventing, and his style wouldn't match well with guys like Roode or Storm.

^No, the weight limit would go down to 275. Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense if you ask me. Just do what Phantom said and ban Team 3D. Once again, poor management and booking.

No weight limit please! That's bad for all involved. I want to see the X title become what the old United States title meant to WCW. It was a mid-card title but everyone went for it. Luger, Flair, Sting, Konnan, et. al. It was a very prestigious belt back then.

The X division is not about Fast Pace wrestling. It's about a new generation of wrestling style and skills. Putting that weight limit will keep Scott Stenier and Team 3D, the vets. who can help The X-Division wrestlers out will not be premitted to wrestle with that division. SO NOOOOOOOOOOO. If TNA puts that weight limit in then the X-Division title is a gloryfied CW title.
