Randy Orton noted on his twitter account that over half of the roster had items stolen from their checked luggage when they reached South Africa. His luggage was untouched. There were locks on the bags that were stolen from, but they were cut off.

Poor effort by the airline. The bags should be protected by them but it sounds like the workers decided to take their pick of the gear. Hopefully everything is insured and that nothing that can't be replaced was stolen.

Shitty that this happens. Wondering if this might affect them going to South Africa in the future? It'd be a shame to ruin it for everyone else because of a stupid incident at an airport.

I saw a good comment on this yesterday, WWE should hire a charter jet on these long 30 hour flights. Less chance of things going missing if you hire a professional crew to take care of you. I don't think this will disuade WWE from touring South Africa in the future but I think it may cause them to switch airlines.

Interesting point, and I think that's one that should be taken into consideration. The problem I could see arising with that is people not wanting to go back to commercial flights after the use of the chartered ones.

I think it could be seen as more of a treat and they would understand they only get it when they travel long distances. Maybe for all the long international flights they get it but for anything in North America they go commercial.
