SmackDown star Ron "R-Truth" Killings was detained at the Canadian border upon his arrival in Toronto this morning.

Killings was refused entry into the Canada and sent home as a result. He obviously won't be appearing at tonight's Raw/SmackDown television taping in Toronto.

Further details have yet to be disclosed regarding why he was barred from entering Canada.

I honestly won't mind his absence from Smackdown, because with WWE not really doing anything special with him, he just bores me now. Some of his flipping/corkscrewing moves are nice, but he's hardly doing any of them that aren't the Corkscrew Forarm, or his Scissors Kick.

Discuss?

It's like the South Park episode, framing rich black guys!

I'm interested to know what he did though...

I like the corkscrew moves and the scissors kick and I like the fact that he put over FuNaki. The problem is that he has the same ring entrance and does the same rap which was okay the first 4 weeks I heard it but my brutha....you gots to change yo' shit. You've got to freashen things up every week....and therein lies the problem with creative. They do the same shit over and over and over. You could strike WWE's lead writer over the head with a 2x4 and he still wouldn't get the hint...the redundancy of their writing would not cease. Anyways...If Truths absence from SmackDown means more of a spotlight on Shelton Benjamin...then I'm all for it

^^^Shelton isn't missing out on anything cos of Truth....

If you hadn't noticed, Shelton is 'above' Truth... The little 'trinket' round his waste should tell you that (and the fact that Truth ultimately lost their recent fued).

UNLESS... You mean you want him to have 2 matches every week!?!?! LOL

I've bagged Truth a lot recently so I won't repeated myself, but suffice to say I won't miss him this week.

Re: The rapping gimmick... He could do with taking a leaf out of Cena's book circa-2004.

Since when was he taking Shelton's spotlight? Now if he'd beaten Shelton for the title, you would be right, but how?

Isn't it obvious? They're both black... Surely by virtue of this they must both occupy the same space in time.

Everyone knows the WWE only pushes one black guy at a time.

Who just happens to have been Cena for the past 4 years..

"Ron Killing spent a little over a year in jail when he was 19 or so. Likely it was this conviction and record that flagged him at customs in Canada."

That's kinda odd though, MVP was in jail for awhile and only served half of his sentence yet he had no problems getting in. (as far as I know since it wasn't reported). I only found this on 1 site though and no others so it may not be true.

Immigration: Sir, would you mind stepping this way please?
Truth: [yells] What’s up?
Immigrationm: Sir, would you mind not raising your voice and coming this way?
Truth: [a little quieter] What’s up?
Immigration: You see sir we have reason to believe.... blah... jail term in the U.S.... blah.... etc.... Do you have anything to add?
Truth: What’s up?
Immigration: Sir, I already explained this to you.... again.... we have reason to believe.... blah... jail term in the U.S.... blah.... etc.... Do you have anything to add?
Truth: What’s up?
Immigration: Sir, are you being intentionally disruptive to my enquiries here?
Truth: What’s up?
Immigration: ...Screw this! Get the fuck out of our country you dumb fuck!

I realize all of this but
I want Shelton Benjamin to be in contention for the heavyweight championship. If a guy like R. Truth, who is more over with the fans, is still around, then he might end up with the push instead. This worries me. I realize that Benjamin beat Truth recently match but on the other hand Truth has beaten Benjamin back in September so I don't know if WWE is messing with both guys to see who will work the hardest. If so, then
Truth's absence would help Shelton in this regard...if only temporarily

Who doesn't have the same ring entrance every week?

Your're right. My complaint is that many entrances in general are routine and predictable.I didn't word it the right way but the point I was trying to make is that there is no harm in R. Truth coming out with a new rap every week. Much in the same way that there is no harm in The Undertaker suddenly running down to the ring lol. Thats another thread tho...

Now THATS whats up!!

Canada sucks tbh. Truth is lucky he gets the night off. See, cause now he wont have to sign autographs from the damn Canadians.

"Aye, could you sign this aye?"

I can't say I'll miss him either. He's alright in the ring, but I'm tired of the "DMX" gimmick.
