SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Attendance looks low but there is a lot of Daniel Bryan chants. Heat for Michael Cole as he comes out with Booker T to the announcers table.

* John Laurinaitis opens the show and talks about facing John Cena at Over the Limit. Laurinaitis wants sympathy and wants the fans to pray for him. WWE Champion CM Punk interrupts to a huge pop.

Punk comes out and is glad that Laurinaitis will finally be terminated after John Cena beats him on Sunday. Punk wishes Laurinaitis the best in his future endeavors to a big pop from the crowd. Punk goes on ripping Laurinaitis until he's had enough. Laurinaitis tells everyone to go to hell and announces Punk vs. Kane for tonight.

* WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth beat Darren Young and Titus O'Neil.

* Zack Ryder is backstage filming his YouTube show when Damien Sandow is shown walking to the ring.

* Sandow comes out as Yoshi Tatsu waits in the ring. Sandow cuts a promo and doesn't think Tatsu is worthy of wrestling him tonight. Yoshi taunts Sandow and calls him a chicken. Sandow lays Tatsu out with a modified neckbreaker and leaves.
* A Big Show video airs.

* Backstage segment with Sheamus and Randy Orton hyping up the four-way title match at Over the Limit.

* Daniel Bryan beat Zack Ryder with the Yes Lock.

* Kane beat CM Punk by DQ with Daniel Bryan staying out for commentary. Bryan tried to interfere with a chair shot but hit Kane instead. Kane, thinking Punk hit him with the chair, laid the WWE Champion out.
* Santino Marella beat Cody Rhodes in a champion vs. champion match.

* Randy Orton defeated Sheamus in the main event with a roll-up. The title was not on the line. After the match, they shook hands but Orton left Sheamus laying with a RKO.

I'll miss Ricardo. They will likely just add an interview video

Happy to see Sandow's storyline developing a bit further with him at least hitting a move on a jobber. I assume that he will get some legitimate opposition soon and will then actually wrestle.

Kane defeats the WWE champion, albeit by DQ, on Smackdown and at the PPV he is on the pre-show against Ryder.

No idea what they are doing with the midcard titles. Realistically Rhodes should not be losing to Santino at all.

No Bryan Punk back and forth segment on the mic. They must really hate the internet these days, first Jericho now Bryan. I'm excited for Orton vs Sheamus though, that should be pretty great. Booker T will probably go wild for every mood. OH MY GOODNESS!

The pinnacle of your reign @milanmiracle as United States Champion, has been the title itself covering up that tattered ass singlet.

Oh and another thing @milanmiracle, I'll give you 500 dollars if you can tell me who Wahoo McDaniel is. Consider it a homework assignment.

An official retort to @milanmiracle and his clever words is forthcoming. Let's say...Thursday at 3 PM.

Rhodes has been tweeting, looks like there is a possible unification.

I hope so. WWE don't care for both belts and to have them unified could add some more credibility to it and the fact they only have to put creative work into the one championship is easy work and could provide better storylines for it. It could help push the title again as well which I'm hoping WWE is going to do. I remember when the IC Championship meant something.

I liked the tag match as it did its purpose of saying while the Primetime Playas are young , they have to do work before getting to the level of the champs.

I also loved Kane's ass whooping to punk because it reminded me of a Eddie Guerrero stunt

I enjoyed Kane/Punk and Sheamus/Orton. Daniel Bryan was solid doing what he did too. They should have done more with him, though.

Okay, I'm going to try not to obsess over this, but tonight's match actually gave me some hope. I noticed a theme song. They had matching shirts this week and another set of matching trunks. It looks like no matter what, they will stay a tag team.

Now, I can do without the afro pick in Darren's hair, but I am enjoying them as a tag team. Normally, I wouldn't even watch the match.

Oh, can I say that I wasn't expecting pink trunks or purple knee pads from Daniel Sandow? I wonder what they will call his finisher?

This is also the first Friday night that I went ahead and watched Smackdown on a Friday night. I had to watch so I can actually discuss it with all of you. Thanks, guys and girls. I really like the board.

Sheamus vs Orton is right now TV match of the year. Absolute brawl and it went for like 25 minutes. These guys were awesome and it shows how much Sheamus developed since 2010 those matches weren't that great. Smackdown was pretty awesome because Kane vs Punk was solid as well. D-Bryan's logic was fantastic and it all set up perfectly. All Smackdown needs to do is stop showing fifteen minute recaps of Raw, god those suck.
