Dark Match:
* Ryback Skip Sheffield beat three local wrestlers in a handicap match.

SmackDown, Airing Friday:
* SmackDown opens with Big Show. He's not happy about injuring AJ Lee and considers retiring. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out and cuts a promo on Show.

Bryan ends up slapping Show and telling him to leave. Show got pissed off and shoved Bryan into the corner before getting in his face. Mark Henry came out and taunted them about the cage match at the Royal Rumble. Teddy Long ends up coming out and making Show vs. Henry for tonight and Wade Barrett vs. the returning Randy Orton.

* They hype Orton's return with a video package.

* Cody Rhodes defeats Justin Gabriel with Cross Rhodes.

* Backstage segment with Teddy Long and his assistant Santino Marella. Santino talks about a possible tag team with Yoshi Tatsu called Santoshi. Drew McIntyre comes in and Teddy says he's about done. McIntyre vs. Sheamus is made.

* Sheamus beat Drew McIntyre. Drew actually got a babyface pop and controlled most of the match but Sheamus connected with the Brogue kick for the win.

* WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo beat Santino Marella and Yoshi Tatsu in a non-title match.

* Backstage segment with Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan. Bryan says he respects Henry and knows he can beat Big Show tonight. Bryan tells Henry to go teach Show a lesson.

* Wade Barrett came to the ring and talked about Randy Orton returning. Orton made his return to a huge ovation from the crowd. Orton attacked Barrett and beat him up. Officials came down to break the fight up but couldn't. Some of the wrestlers come down and break things up while Barrett runs off. Orton hits RKO's on everyone who came to help – Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, one of The Usos and Trent Baretta.

* Hunico beat Ted DiBiase. After the match, Hunico and Camacho beat down DiBiase and worked on his injured wrist.

* Brodus Clay defeated Alex Riley in a good performance by Clay. Riley tried to win a dance off before the match.

* Aksana defeated Natalya in a quick squash via roll-up. After the match, Natalya attacked Aksana and locked her in the Sharpshooter. Tamina ran down and made the save with a Samoan Drop and Superfly Splash on Natalya.

* Big Show beat Mark Henry by count out. Daniel Bryan watched from ringside. They went at it and Henry stayed out to get counted out. Bryan attacked Big Show with a chair and they ended up fighting in the ring. Bryan locked in the LaBell Lock but Show broke free and chokeslammed him and hit the knockout punch.

Disappointed Barrett vs. Orton never happened.

Love the idea of Tatsu & Santino being tag teams now, new tags could be great. I wonder whats next for Drew McIntyre.

The show is looking quite good and Aksana winning in 5 seconds... Ugh.

Looks good.

Not sure why they had Orton RKO assorted jobbers.

Wonder how that went down. "You, you, you and you go out there and get rko'ed" Show doesn't look that appealing but will still maybe watch it.

Disappointed Barrett vs. Orton never happened.

I'm hoping they don't have a one-on-one match until Wrestlemania. They can certainly drag it out that far.

Just have them both eliminate the other in the Rumble, have them earn their spots in the Elimination Chamber match and all six men stake their claims for the World Heavyweight Championship while also continuing the minor feuds thrown into the one match. Then have Barrett & Orton getting down each other's throats the first Raw Supershow after the Elimination Chamber, eventually leading to a Wrestlemania match... which Barrett should win imo.

Not watching Smackdown again as I seriously no longer care to watch. The show sounds okay, but just knowing it's nothing like it used to be just makes me not wanna waste my time. I'll keep reading these spoiler threads as I wanna know what the deal is with McIntyre.

I don't like the random superstars running down to the ring and getting RKOed. It makes no sense as they're doing the job of the security and really have no reason to involve themselves in that fight. I also think Aksana beating Natalya in a squash match is ridiculous, followed by Tamina beating up Natalya on top of that. Seems as if this is some form of storyline for Natalya as it has happened quite a bit recently.

I really think the Orton returned should've been kept quiet and to just have him show up and smash Barrett on Smackdown or eliminate him at the Rumble. To me it would've given the feud a little more hype going forward then with everyone being told Orton's bacl as they already expected him to let loose on Barrett.

I'll give it a watch purely for the WHC stuff.

I'm surprised they didn't hold off the Orton return until the Rumble. Don't really mind that. But why the fuck do they have to do that akward, super-Orton thing where he RKO's everyone in the ring. It never looks good.

Fuck Teddy Long. How do you even pretend to give away Orton/Barrett the first week Orton is back? They better not squash Barrett under Orton the way they did Christian. That will piss me off.

First thing that gets my attention is Ryback beating three jobbers in a handicap match before the show. Strong feeling that he will return/debut at the Rumble, he has been on the road for nearly two months squashing jobbers so they must want to use him again very soon.

I like what is happening around the World title scene and the ending of the show sounds really good. Bryan trying for the cheapshot but then running away when Show gets out of the hold.

Gabriel could be a good opponent for Rhodes' IC title and I hope that a feud develops between them.

Don't like what is happening with Drew McIntyre. Please let this be the year when he gets back on track and starts winning.

I agree, I am surprised by it and it's done much better than its expectations. Very enjoyable. I just want Wade Barrett in the WHC picture though. :PointWink:

I'll be watching SD this week like every other week.

Ummm Orton/Barrett is scheduled by Teddy Long to start the show and then.... I don't understand the later segment... There was no ref ring side even... I guess I have to believe Orton wasn't mentally ready as Barrett has been saying.
