WWE ruins NHL game ice

I am watching the CBC Hockey Night in Canada pre-game show for tonights matchup between the Flyers and the Canadians and one thing that was brought up in the pre-game show was that the ice condition at the Bell Center for this evenings game is extremly poor due to the fact that the ice had to be removed for yesterdays "wrestling show". Of course, this was the WWE house show that happened yesterday.

Basketball games are held in hockey arenas, they just cover the ice with hard wood, unless the arena is in an area that doesnt have an NHL team...

Of course... And you being from Ontario should know that, considering hockey is huge here....
In Canada especially but also in the states in certain places.
But as far as ruining the ice, that sucks, and why was it in the Bell Centre anyways? That arena holds 21 thousand, and usually house shows are in smaller arena, cause I ddoubt for a house show 20,000 people would show up...

Yup, hockey is dying because a few people in st catherines dont watch it... That means the end for the millions of people who sell out arenas to watch it...

More like the same thousands of people probably. I mean, if NFL was like NHL a few years back, people would riot. But since NHL was the one that went on hiatus or w/e it was on, people didnt care. Hockey is like boring man. I know two people from it, and thats cause I watch ESPN, and I have no choice but to hear the highlights, unfortunately

Boxing still attracts thousands to arenas, but that doesn't mean it isn't pretty much dead.

So? So you dont like it. And your in america... Canada is the country that is nuts about hockey, and its the furthest thing from dead here... And just because you dont know of people from hockey doesnt mean its dead... I couldnt name anyone in basketball or the NFL but those are far from dead as well in the states. But I dont know when this became a sports thread so back on topic :gun_rifle:

lol they arent all white boys... there is like one or two black people in the NHL i believe...

and im not a big fan or hockey. the fights are fun to watch and i will go to a few high school hockey games to support my friends and stuff and i went to one AHL game to watch the Lake Erie Monsters and i had a good time but i dont watch hockey on tv unless im at my friends house... its not a bad sport but it doesnt really entertain me because i dont know any hockey players in the NHL... i dont think i could even name one...
