Hell, they might even pull a swerve by having Ric side with his daughter again and cost Sasha the title. Either way, that'd be lame.
Yes...it would be lame...extremely lame...but knowing WWE and
how they've handled this feud since Hell In A Cell...its probably
going to happen.
In hindsight...Sasha should have retained at Hell In A Cell and
the feud should have ended there...but I again think it comes
down to options.
Bayley is not ready...which they realized after they already started
to build the feud with Charlotte.
Nia Jax is also too green and realistically should have been left in
NXT to develop her skills.
Alicia Fox is simply just there...which is a shame...but the truth.
Dana Brooke...well...whatever plans WWE had for her have
clearly been thrown in the garbage.
Summer Rae has been out injured since before the Draft...
And Paige...well...Paige clearly is never going to be a part
of any future WWE plans.
Emma(lina) could have added some much needed X-factor by now...
but for some reason the WWE have held off her return...which
apparently will be happening on this weeks RAW...not at say...
RoadBlock...you know the Pay Per View that's happening a
week from now.
Put simply...RAW has no one else besides Charlotte & Sasha...
And while the matches they've had have ranged from solid to
fantastic...this feud is now being dragged out simply because
there are no other viable options.
And of course...Ric Flair has once again been added into
the the women's Championship equation...and it really brings
my piss to a boil.
Charlotte does not need her father...she is a star in her own
right and while I respect Ric Flair for everything he has ever
down for pro wrestling...enough is enough.
And the saddest thing about this is you just know Ric is going
to be a factor in the RoadBlock IronWoman match. He'll either
side with his daughter and betray Sasha costing her the title
(which will make her look like an idiot for trusting/caring about
him in the first place) or he'll side with Sasha allowing her to
keep the title.
Either way...it will be complete bullshit...and frankly sours my
excitement for what could be the Women's Match of the Year.
Now I know how'd I'd be booking it. First off...Emmalina does
not return on the go home RAW. I'd wait till RoadBlock during
the actual IronWoman match. I would wait until the 25th minute
and have the falls be even...say 3 each...Both Charlotte
and Sasha go down after a huge corner super-plex when the
house lights suddenly go out...then some huge spotlights
start to scan across the arena before they focus on a lone woman
in entrance way. She is wearing a long, flowing silver gown
and she starts with her back to the camera only for some familiar
music to kick in. (Or new music...but I absolutely love this track)
She turns to reveal Emma...well...Emmalina who makes her
way down to the ring (on some freshly rolled out red carpet)
surrounded by a crowd of paparazzi wildly taking photos
(You guys know what I mean...the old Melina shtick but more
refined)
She enters the ring, posing as she does, performing a runway
model like spin in the center. The referee attempts to get her out
of the ring but makes the mistake of grabbing her arm.
This is a trigger point for Emmalina who then pushes the referee
to the mat before in one fluid motion removes her gown to reveal
her newly designed wrestling attire. Emmalina attacks the referee
throwing him out of the ring (and she also attacks Ric Flair if he's
around).
By now Charlotte & Sasha have recovered and confront Emmalina
only for her to attack both of them with unchecked, brutal violence.
She leaves both of them laying in the middle of ring with one on
top of the other (whoever you'd have win) as she departs followed
by the crowd of paparazzi the referee crawls back in the ring to
count the final fall as the 30 minutes runs out seconds after.
Whoever loses moves into a feud with Emmalina and whoever wins
moves into a feud with Bayley.
Basically...I think Emmalina should be a runway model wrestler
with an extreme case of bipolar disorder. Think Eva Marie meets
Victoria.
There...I'm done.
