It’s finally happening, wrestling fans!

WWE will resume live event touring in front of people again this summer by embarking on a 25-city tour through Labor Day.

The tour will begin with the July 16 edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

WWE allowed fans to return for two nights in April at this year's WrestleMania event but went back to shooting inside of their closed ThunderDome set with a virtual fan wall afterward. Prior to WrestleMania, the last show with a large audience present was an episode of Raw that took place in Washington, D.C. back in March of 2020.

The touring announcement from WWE follows almost every other major sports league in welcoming the return of fans in some capacity. In fact, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell even stated last month that he expects the league to have full attendance at games during the 2021 season.

WWE’s upcoming tour will kick-off with three shows in Texas.

- Friday, July 16: SmackDown – Toyota Center in Houston

- Sunday, July 18: Money In The Bank – Dickies Arena in Fort Worth

- Monday, July 19: Raw – American Airlines Center in Dallas

Tickets to these three events go on sale Wednesday, May 26 at 11 a.m ET.

There's no official news regarding SummerSlam at this time, but additional stops on the 25-city tour will be announced in the coming weeks.

Keep your eyes peeled for WWE’s return to your town!
Let's go, hopefully it goes smoothly.

Good news for wrestling fans in the U.S , does seem like vaccination is going pretty damn well down there so this is encouraging!

I think we are doing a good job in England too with vaccinations. From the bits and pieces of news I've heard.

It's great to see this is possible again. Hopefully everything is safe and goes smoothly, happy fans get to attend shows again. It's been a long time and it's nice to see a semblance of normality again in the world.

good! We are slowly catching up to England and UK (I believe we are now 3rd in the g20 behind you two) , and standing at about 50%+ of the population with at least on shot (im getting mine in a few weeks, yay!).

Our main challenge will be shot 2 within a proper timeframe as theyve seemed to hedge a bit of their bets on getting everyone a 1 shot ASAP.

That being said, as more and more of the US is vaxxed, that obviously opens up more supplies for us, so im hopeful here as well. I really miss live wrestling a lot, and (even if this a wwe thread) would be pretty happy to see a live show of any kind before the end of "21

Regarding talk of John Cena being on the first WWE show back with fans on 7/16, I was told that this is still being discussed.

Just over 50% vaccinated in Canada and all we get are fucking baseball diamonds, tennis courts, skateboard parks and goddamn splash pads. Still on lockdown because the government here is ass.
