WWE reaches deal to sell custom SEC title belts

WWE's Bianca Belair hoisted a custom Tennessee-branded championship belt during her appearance Saturday on ESPN's "College GameDay." Now, fans of SEC schools can get a belt of their own. WWE has secured licenses to produce custom side plates featuring the logos of all 14 SEC teams that can be outfitted on replica WWE championship title belts. The side plates will be available for purchase later this fall ahead of conference championship games. This is a natural next step for WWE, which began the tradition of gifting replica title belts outfitted with custom side plates to champions of other sports in 2013, when the Red Sox won the World Series. WWE struck a deal in 2021 that allows fans to order custom belts branded for all MLB teams (SBJ).
