Last night at SummerSlam The Continental Airlines Arena unveiled a permanent banner that honors World Wrestling Entertainment for bringing in one million fans during their 92 live events they have ran there from 1992-until now. A camera captured the one millionth fan entering the venue and he was later shown on the Titantron live before the pay-per-view went on the air. He received a signed WWE replica belt autographed by WWE champion John Cena and Randy Orton.
Last night's SummerSlam pre-show meet and greet featured Jimmy Hart, Cryme Time and Matt Striker. It was originally scheduled to feature several Divas. At one point during the pay-per-view Ron Simmons was out by the concession stands taking photos and greeting fans.

- As we reported earlier, there was a dark match before SummerSlam featuring Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeating Paul London & Brian Kendrick. According to several fan reports, the match was very well done.
