Backstory
In the aftermath of WrestleMania XXIV, Mr. McMahon called William Regal to his officce and showed him the ratings. And they were dismal.
Nobody wanted to see Cena win the WWE Championship again. But Regal thought differently.
Nobody wanted Umaga to end Ric Flair's glorious career. But Regal thought differently.
And NOBODY wanted to see Snitsky win the Intercontinental Championship from the super-popular Jeff Hardy. But Regal thought friggin' differently!
On the spot - no kayfabe, no cameras - Regal was fired. McMahon muttered to himself, "The next person to walk into this room is the new Raw General Manager."
Then, from nowhere, a fan runs in asking for McMahon's autograph. Vince comes up with a typically odd idea. Just as security run in, McMahon tells them to leave - because this fan is the new Raw GM.
Immediately, the fan is recognised as Rebe Lution. He tells McMahon his ideas - that RAW would be changed forever.
And Raw Version 2.0 was born.

WWE Championship JOHN CENA
Much to the disgust of the fans, John Cena was screwed into the title match at WM24. He threw Randy Orton to the outside, before forcing Triple H to submit with the STF-U - beginning Cena's newest title run (his first as a heel).
Intercontinental Championship SNITSKY
Snitsky demanded a title shot, and he got one. It was for the Intercontinental title, against Jeff Hardy, at WM24. Hardy had dominated the match, but Snitsky reversed a Twist of Fate attempt into a Sleeper Hold. He refused to let go, and Hardy promptly passed out. After the bell rang, Snitsky was booed by the fans. The monster went into the crowd and attacked six fans. As a punishment, Snitsky will defend his title next week - against Jeff Hardy.
World Tag Team Championship LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH
Cade & Murdoch defeated London & Kendrick for the gold on February 24th.
Women's Championship BETH PHOENIX
Phoenix won the title at No Mercy, defeating Candice Michelle for the gold.
