Senior vice president of talent development Canyon Ceman is no longer with WWE, according to Dave Meltzer.
Details are still light as to Ceman's departure but shouldn't be considered a surprise given the corporate shake-up within the WWE front office over the last few months. Ceman had been with the company since March 2012 when he was hired as the senior director of talent development, gettig two promotions to VP roles in his tenure.
Before that, he was best known as a professional beach volleyball player for 14 years, later holding a CFO role with the league for less than two years.
Additionally, Fightful reported Tuesday that Sonjay Dutt is no longer with WWE as a producer, choosing to leave on his own terms. He had been with WWE since January 2019. Meltzer said Dutt left the company two weeks ago.
WWE began making cuts starting in April throughout several departments in addition to talent cuts. The talent relations department saw both Mark Carrano and Nicole Zeoli leave the group under different circumstances in April while that same month saw John Laurinatis re-hired to lead the department.
It's unknown if more corporate cuts are coming at this time.
