I know this is pretty random and doesn't fit into the topic but I thought I would put it in here while I post; my friend told me the other day that Edge is both the 100th IC Champion and the 100th US Champion. A little known fact there.

United States Champion The Miz, Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, Michelle McCool, Montel Vontavious Porter and Big Show, in that order, will all appear on 5 episodes of next week's line-up of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" broadcasts. The shows are all re-runs, however, each show next week will feature one of the WWE stars.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there is internal concern within WWE that Edge is not recovering as well as he could be from the Achilles heel tendon injury he received months ago. The belief heading into the rehabilitation period for Edge was that he would be well enough to return to the ring in time for WrestleMania 26, but that does not appear to be a lock at this point. Edge has pointed out in several interviews that this injury has been the most severe for him and the most difficult to recover from in his entire career.

That sucks... I kind of figured that would be the case. An achilles tear is pretty much a career ending injury most of the time. I don't care how long it takes I just hope they don't force him back early and risk another injury. He's definitely left a noticeable hole in WWE.
I'm thinking his return pop may very well rival HHH's initial quad tear return if they build it right.

Though there could be an argument if they didn't have promos thorughout the month to build it up and hype into it, with Triple H in New York for Raw January (date I can't remember) 2002... I personally think the crowd would have went nuts louder and harder if it's possible, if it were a shock and weren't expecting it.

Anyway, I can't wait for Edge's return.
Did any of you guys see Triple H's interview comments on that pop? he in one of his DVD's said "I waited behind the cuirtain ready to go out all commercial break, and when the break ended I remember that when the music hit, the pop was so loud, I turned around and looked at Steph, Shane and Vince in the face and said Mother Fucker!" before walking out. LOL then he said in the hospital bed the WWE gave him, at least they had the porno channels. Legend. I think it's on his 2002 "Game" DVD.

Michelle McCool was on Smarter Then a 5th grader. McCool fell back to $2,500 twice on the show. In the final question she had $12,000 going in. McCool went for the final question for $125,000 if she got it wrong she would fall down to $2,500. The question was "What Animal is featured on the great seal of the United States? McCool answered "The Great Seal". The correct answer was The Bald Eagle. The show donated $2500 to the Make A Wish Foundation for her
