While no contact has been made, WWE officials are interested in acquiring TNA Wrestling stars Angelina Love and Velvet Sky should they become available.

WWE, as always, is looking to bolster their Divas division but the well of prospective female talent is these days considered dire. Company officials have soured on acquiring female talent with no prior wrestling experience and independent wrestlers are generally frowned upon. Love and Sky fit neither category. A source, however, indicates that the two Knockouts are comfortable in the Orlando based organization and would be hesitant about going through WWE's developmental system. Furthermore, Sky is locked in a multi-year contract with TNA, which she signed in 2010. Love's contract will expire in December.

The blonde starlets were at one point under the auspices of WWE; Angelina Love as a developmental talent and Velvet Sky as a Diva Search contestant. Both, however, were unproven in 2007 and summarily rejected. The two subsequently joined TNA, where they would flourish as "The Beautiful People." The act was so successful that in a rarity, WWE saw fit to blatantly copy TNA by creating their own version of an arrogant female alliance in Lay-Cool.
From PWPix so hardly at all credible. Anyway, I love the part that says models are essentially no good anymore, yet actual workers are frowned upon too, how Blue. There's plenty of Diva's in the lockeroom who they could get an opinion from, but I would imagine that the majority would be somewhat negative. They only have to look at the recent Gail treatment and the amount of focus (or lack of) that the Divas get to be able to make their own mind up though.

Probably just another way of basically saying they don't give a shit about the divas

But I don't see them being interested in coming to WWE unless they made a real effort to treat that division seriously. TNA is pretty much the place to be for a women's wrestler who wants at least a shot be taken seriously and given T.V time. So don't even see why they would be bothered to be interested in them if they know they're just gonna barely use them.

If either woman wants to take their wrestling career seriously they would stay in TNA, All they have to do is look at former WWE talent around the TNA locker room to realise. Look at all the Diva's transformed from Diva's to KO's, They were doing nothing in WWE and they even found a position for Christy Hemme.

I guess it depends what guaranteed salary they get offered because obviously it would be better for them as opposed to the rumoured $600 per show they apparently make now. At least if they weren't wrestling in the E they still be picking up a decent salaray unlike in TNA where generally if you don't work, you don't get paid.

That's pretty much the advantage that WWE has over TNA in that regard to the female wrestlers, the pay. If reports about the pay are true they are easily the lowest paid people on the roster minus a few exceptions. Mix that with the fact that they don't pay for hotels and medical it's not exactly the best place for female wrestlers to make a living at. If TNA fixed that no female wrestler would ever wanna go to WWE.

TNA Knockouts division shits all over WWE easily and if WWE wants to focus on their divas and improve they should do that first before bringing in Velvet Sky or Angelina Love

Would of been decent if WWE still had Flawless, or whatever they were called (Layla & McCool).

Just bring Velvet, Angelina looks vile.

I don't watch TNA but I have seen quite a few matches with the knockouts competing and they have way better matches than the WWE does and they focus on the Knockout division more. Matches are longer too.

I'd like to see Velvet Sky, but not Angelina Love.

Knockouts were main event last week or the week before, that says something.

Before these two knockout even think about WWE they should wait until WWE fix the divas division, same could be said for tags wanting to go to WWE.

If I were Angelina Love and Velvet Sky (<3), I wouldn't go near the WWE. I've not watched TNA for a while now, but when I did watch it their Knockouts division was much better than WWE's Divas division, in fact by quite a margin. The matches were actually decent and the feuds weren't bad, which is a step above what the WWE give their Divas.

There's massive improvement needed for the Divas division to lure any of the Knockouts from TNA, especially now that Gail Kim is back in TNA and probably spreading the word that the Knockouts would be making a mistake by jumping ship... and rightfully so. Kharma is an exception as she is unique, something the WWE would capitalise on and attempted to do so in her brief stint. Knockouts like Love and Sky (<3) would just end up increasing the roster size in WWE.

Agreed Aniking, they should stay in TNA where the Knockout Division actually gives them time to wrestle.

in WWE you get like 2-3 minutes tops, in TNA they give the Knockouts up to 10 minutes or longer at times.

The divas division in WWE won't be fixed any time soon, Vince simply doesn't like them. It's been reported before.
